Do not allow lure discussion/etc

Not everyone, who gets lured, knows they are entering the wilderness.

SURE THERE IS A DITCH AND A WARNING SCREEN.

People who post on sythe, always get infracted for posting stuff against the rules. Why? They don't bother reading the rules, or just pass through the warning posts not caring or not even noticing it's against the rules.

Entering the wild when you're lured, some people just don't even notice it, or don't get phased by the signs.

Just like people getting scammed by "Too good to be true" scammers.

Lol, you're talking about like 1% of the people who get lured today who don't know they are going into the wilderness (such as victims of the lava titan lure which was fixed). And if they don't know they are entering the wilderness because they choose to ignore a warning screen then that's their fault.

They get infracted correct? They didn't bother reading the rules or just passed through the warning posts not caring or not even noticing it's against the rules.. and guess what? They suffered the consequences. Same with people who go into the wilderness. There are already a number of things in place to warn players where the wilderness is and how dangerous it is and if people choose to ignore that then they must suffer the consequences.

 

Sort of glad they arnt posting here yet.. They got much more Important stuff to attend to then a pointless debate on weather or not something that jagex allows on their game to be banned here on sythe

 

It's ridiculous that you want to regulate people's speech regarding runescape cheating on a runescape cheating website. It's part of the gameplay, and perfectly fine.

The staff have previously ruled it to be fine (hence why there is an official thread for finding a luring partner located here).

I saw verts viewing the thread, it wasn't locked.

I didn't say that it should be locked? All I said is that the staff previously ruled it to be alright (which they did).

Items in runescape are the property of Jagex. As such, tricking somebody into giving you their items cannot be consider theft, as the items were not their property in the first place.

 

Can't say I'm backing you up on this one CC. While luring is annoying and stupid, It's part of the game.
&& Honestly, if someone's retarded enough to fall for a lure?
It takes like 5 minutes to get into the damn wildy anymore, NOBODY's that stupid. If they are, they'll learn their lesson the hard way.

 

I'm afraid there already was an extensive staff discussion regarding luring, and the staff decided to rule it as "part of the game". All of the arguments in this thread were used and ultimately were not strong enough.
