Kaorsi's Sword?

Im thinking about getting the Karosi's sword. On my turmoil pure.
Although ive heard the special attack gives defense EXP? And im 400 XP to my next defense level.
So my questions are :
Does getting the sword give defense? (in a quest)?
if so which one?
and does the special attack give defense?

Nawww the spec itself doesn't give def. Check runehq or something to see the quest rewards. That'll tell you if it gives def cuz I forgot.
