They have stated MANY times that they will NEVER email you about your account.

also, don't you think that if it was about your account, it would have your RS name rather than player?

Real email, same thing happened to my mate. Also using idungpro. There is no way this dude go phished if he didn't even click a link through the email.

 

Ok, once again, for all saying I got phished, READ THE THREAD. I did not even click the link, and it was a legit Runescape.Com link, not just covered up by text. I copied the link address and pasted into notepad to verify, it led to runescape.com. SECOND I didn't check my email to begin with, I was notified first when I attempted to log in and my account was LOCKED. It specifically said, on runescape.com game login screen to submit an appeal. I went to my account management page and checked my messages and infractions, the infraction picture is listed, and I had a message from Jagex, in my RUNESCAPE MAILBOX saying check my email, which I did, and I had an actual email from Jagex stating what had happened. I submitted an appeal and it was unlocked immediately and I am now botting dungeoneering on it again. Please stop spamming my thread saying I got phished or the link was fake as I verified it was NOT, it was a legit link from Jagex leading to Runescape.Com. I will report any further posts saying phishing link as spam, thank you.

How can their banning system be bugged?? It's very dangerous that people could get banned unfairly or get black marks without deserving. At first i thought it could be like a bluff to make people confess or something.

Actually, you are trolling us. Because I knew this was fake, I went to my email to look for a jagex phishing email and I found the exact same one that you have. This was a PHISHING EMAIL. I'll include some pics to prove it.



As you can see this is the exact same email. If you look at the bottom you can clearly see it is a phishing link. I have no idea why the OP decided to make a fake thread like this, maybe he is the one sending out these phishing emails?
