Which laptop should I buy?

Hi, I am deciding which laptop to buy. I'm a bit low on money, so I can barely squeeze by the $399 price of the Toshiba. However, the Samsung is $50 cheaper and has more ram, but the Toshiba has an i3 processor. I am looking for a budget laptop to surf the web, watch videos, do some word processing, play RS and other low-end games.

Can someone recommend which to buy? Thanks!

 

Go with the i3, $50 more for a better processor. You can always buy more RAM it isnt that expensive.

I am currnetly on a i5 HP with 6gigs of ram, after experiencing the new intel processors I would not be interested in anything else. You wont be disappointed.

Get the i3, you can always use the computer to bot some gold to sell for the $50 more you spent.

 

Well personally i would go with the samsung. seems it has hdmi out and the toshiba doesnt. Im not a fan of onboard intel gpu's to be honest and in my experience amd cores have a longer shelf life

 

try the new deal where you get a free xbox 360, the price might be a little bit more thnewhat you cna afford, but you can sell the xbox and get half your money back, what i did, and its a decent little laptop...sadly my cousin is hording it haha

 

Samsung is good in almost everything else except for their computers. Plus, the i3 processor is faster and more energy efficient. The processor will dynamically adapt as your computing needs change and you'll save on your energy bill, too! You can always buy more memory if you feel you need more later. As a rule of thumb, it's always a good idea to get a little extra computing power than you need presently because your needs may change in the future. The extra $50 spent now will most likely be a better investment.

 

The one on the right would begood for watching movies on a hidef tv because it has hdmi output.

Basically, if you're doing what little gaming that machine is capable of, go with the toshiba. If you are more in it for entertainment purposes such as movies and music and stuff, go with the samsung

 

The Samsung has a better gpu though.
