Explanation of the trade:
The user promoted Discord servers involved in gambling and OSRS GP buying/selling, using roulette-style spin games and Twitch sub trading. I was directed there through his Twitch channel and ended up losing over $1000 through dishonest and rigged Twitch-based giveaway events.

How they scammed:
He used Twitch and kick to run fraudulent “giveaway” spins where users gift subs to enter or force a reroll.

At **02:11:57** in this video clip ([Kick VOD link](https://kick.com/ryguyslive/videos/b2bdea8d-b052-4984-80e6-38630c43b6c2)), I (Evy) clearly won a **3B prize** — including **two Twisted Bows** — with the donator **Inperfecta** giving on my behalf.

Instead of honoring the win, the streamer rerolled it using a questionable timer excuse. He claimed a 3:00 + 0:30 delay rule, but the clock had already dropped to **2:25**, which was **5 seconds after my win**. He ignored this, rerolled the prize, and avoided the payout.

Once I confronted him, I was banned from the Discord server — losing access and any way to recover what I was owed. It appears this behavior is used repeatedly to trick viewers into gifting subs while avoiding legitimate payouts. He may also be using multiple Discord accounts to cover his actions.

Just to make it clear — the timer on the video screen started from 3:00, and I had the full 3 minutes to win. After my win, it dropped to 0:00, then a few seconds later reset back to 3:00, and dropped again to 2:25, which was already 5 seconds after my win. He used this exuse “30 seconds for mobile” excuse to justify rerolling and avoid paying out.

 

Haha hey there, this has nothing to do with sythe as this is my twitch where i offer FREE giveaways, little side note. This is my hard earned money where i giveaway what i want and to valued members of my community. This user isn't even someone who donated or has ever donated, simply a giveaway leech upset he didn't win a giveaway. Dont think sythe mods will even bat an eye to this, but if they do and need anything more from me please let me know.

 

Just to clarify this, I am a donator of said streamer, and was not trying to help I_EvyRs win anything, I did check the VOD on kick after ry's stream and found that I_EvyRs did in fact win per the streamers own rules of 3 minutes for pc plus an additional 30 seconds for mobile, the vod clearly shows the streamer rerolling I_EvyRs on the second timer at the 2:25 mark so after the additional30 seconds for mobile users, i still like said streamer but I'm ABSOLUTELY appalled by his choice of not honoring his own giveaway rules by rerolling the rightful winner after the giveaway ended just to make more money.

 

Just to be clear - You dont have to give money to win but you do have to be a valid member of the community, not giving hundreds of dollars to someone who stops in there first time and shows not loyalty - even with there time

Like any platform that hosts giveaways, I have a set criteria for eligibility, and these rules apply across the board. Even if its within the timer, if ur a random coming in cause u see im running a giveaway im hosting for my actual viewers and take advantage, i have every right to not pay you out. like imperfecta stated he wasnt donating for I_eny to win and he is a random person that tried to take advantage of a free 3b payout when its being hosted for dedicated community members not randoms that started watching 3 minutes prior. - i state this in my Terms Of Service posted all over my discord including my giveaway requirements section (see attached photos.)

I understand being salty over the win but like i said its my giveaway, with my rules that can be backed up via discord. if you were a valued member of the community you would know this as i state it before ever giveaway and have it written all over my server. participation is completely optional, and no one is obligated to donate subs etc. The #1 thing that matters to me when giving free gp to my twitch community is watch time so those who actually enjoy the streams get a good chance at winning the items im giving away. That said, Many people with 0$ spent have won my giveaways and i even have an entire channel in my discord proving so. I give out over 10b OSRS GP monthly across my Twitch and Discord community, with raffles, weekly giveaways and my daily streams.

 

which is a shame because as a streamer I actually enjoyed your content and planned on sticking around but being show irrefutable proof that I_Evy won really turned me off on watching ever again

Your attempting to twist my words for your own gain, i did nothing to help evy win this, but the clip ITSELF shows evy winning fair and square of him winning and im more than willing to post it if asked by mods

 

Im ngl bro, i get hes upset but nothing will happen, its my own money and my own channel. I can realistically do whatever i want with it lol. Im not obligated or confined to anything. A giveaway is a donation of me, if you guys think different of me, sure. But the fact of it being a scam is super far fetched and untrue. The issue has been resolved — I received 1 Twisted Bow as compensation through Discord. While the original prize was larger, I’ve accepted this outcome and consider the matter closed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to review it.

 

I want to add a few more things now that the previous thread has been closed following my initial statement.

He referred to me as a “random” and a “giveaway leech,” but that’s simply not true. I was an active and legitimate member of his community: I was a Twitch subscriber, a member of his Discord server, and part of his RuneScape clan. I had actively participated in his streams, chatted before and during the giveaway, and was clearly involved in the community. I was not someone who just showed up at the last minute.

The giveaway was streamed live and featured a visible 3-minute countdown timer. At timestamp 02:11:57 in the stream VOD, I was selected as the winner of a 3B OSRS GP prize. The on-screen timer had reached 0:00, indicating the round was over. I won fairly, by the rules shown to the viewers.

Before I won, RYGUYSLIVE had already given away over $1,500 worth of prizes through subscription rerolls, showing that the giveaway was ongoing and the timer active well before my participation and win.

A few seconds after my win, the timer abruptly reset to 3:00 and dropped again to 2:25 — this happened five seconds after my name was announced. Despite this, RYGUYSLIVE claimed there was a “30-second mobile delay” and used that as justification to reroll the prize and take back the win.

Let me be 100% clear: I had the full 3 minutes. The timer hit 0:00. I was publicly drawn as the winner. The reset happened after the win, not before. The delay excuse was completely made up and had no basis in the stream footage or the rules presented to viewers.

Later, he claimed that only “valued members” could win — a rule that was never stated before the giveaway. It was brought up only after I had already won, seemingly to create a retroactive disqualification. When I tried to question what had happened and explain my side, I was banned from his Twitch, Discord, and RuneScape clan without warning. No discussion, no resolution — just silencing.

At that point, a community member named Imperfecta stepped in and tried to mediate. I want to thank him for doing the right thing — he acted in good faith and genuinely tried to help both sides reach some kind of agreement. Thanks to his involvement, I was offered one Twisted Bow as partial compensation.

But I want to be fully honest: I felt forced to accept that deal. I was worried I’d walk away with nothing. During a voice call with RYGUYSLIVE, I was manipulated and emotionally pressured into settling. I was talked over, steered into saying the “right” things, and made to feel like this was my only option. I agreed because I felt trapped — not because it was fair.

I do not consider the matter closed.
The prize I won was 3B OSRS GP, and I am still owed that full amount. Nothing less, nothing more. The Twisted Bow was not equal in value — it was a partial payout offered under pressure, during a one-sided conversation where I had no real power.

I also want it known: I have evidence. I have the stream recording showing the timer, the reroll, and the win. I also have a recording of the voice call, where the pressure tactics were used. Everything I’ve described here can be proven.

This situation isn’t just about me. It reflects a deeper issue — a pattern of controlling giveaways, moving goalposts, silencing winners, and rewriting the story afterward. That’s not how a fair giveaway works, especially when real, high-value items are involved.

I’m speaking up because no one else should have to go through what I did. No one should be publicly discredited, unfairly rerolled, or pushed into silence just for winning a prize they earned. If this happened to me, it can happen to others — and the more people who speak out, the harder it becomes to sweep these things under the rug.
