What exactly is it? What does it do? What advantages does it provide? And how can I figure out if I have a low or high pid?

Thanks kabal. And I have read something about it giving you higher chances to hit high. Is that true? I didn't think it was, and that link you posted said nothing about it. I was just wondering

 

No it doesn't affect what you hit, just when.

 

in the morning when i stake I win 90% of the stakes because i have a good pid

at night I lose a lot

I used to do PID staking. Would spend about 20-30 min each session getting the highest PID. It basically allows you to get the first hit, no matter what. In a boxing match this can mean a 3% advantage. Went from 500m to 1.5b through just boxing, then got really unlucky doing 100m stakes and had to stop at 800m. Definitely recommend looking into PID staking if you're a patient boxer on a maxed account.

One thing to watch out for is staking glitches. One time I lost out on 100m because someone x-logged out of the duel. I also don't recommend staking in w22 because the pros already know about PID staking.

 

staking in the morning in short sessions continuing through the day is the best way to do it, but yeah everything else i was going to say has already been say above, goodluck staking.

 

If you're boxing there's no sense in pid. Getting first hit in a boxing match isn't significant. Def do it in rapier staking though.

Player id is significant in boxing matches, a 2-3% advantage. I got first hit 99% of the time.

I would argue lag at the dueling arena contribues a bigger percentage than that.

 

Out of 500-600 stakes I got first hit over 95% of the time.

I have an excel spreadsheet listing the amount of stakes I had, the number of times I got first hit, the amount I staked for and whether I won or not.

P.S. running on a T1 connection at a university, using a computer with an i5, gtx295 and fast SSD probably helped me a little while I was doing this.

 

Does PiD change as you play? Or only when you log?

 

PiD is useful for things like mage boxing, rapier staking, whip staking etc, places where you would benefit from having first hit. lower = better, and PiD only changes when you log, as it is established only once per session

 

Okay so if I log in with a low pid, I wont lose it until I log out?
