    Explanation of the trade: He initially messaged me about doing an $800 PayPal-to-crypto swap. When I was ready, he changed the amount to $1200. I went first, as I always did with him, and we never had any issues until now. It was a 1:1 PayPal-to-crypto swap.
    How they scammed: I sent $1200 via PayPal to the email he provided, but I haven’t received the $1200 in crypto. At first, he said "BTC is taking a while to get 6 confirmations to my hardware." Now, it's been over 48 hours, and he's saying he's having trouble with his crypto plug.

    Given the total amount admitted I am opting for a permanent ban in this instance.
