suicidal. please help

I can't think straight. i really can't. my girlfriend broke up with me. she's in canada. she broke up with me only today. She was the love of my life. she really was. and now she's going on a date with some other guy. and there's nothing I can do.

 

Do something to take your mind of it right now! I went out with a girl last year and when she dumped me I was distraught, I found the best way to stop myself feeling shite was to do anything that kept me busy. Stay strong, suicide isn't the way to make everything better, please don't try it. You've got the rest of your life to live, you don't know what will happen in that period of time. You might meet a girl who seems 10 times better, or she might come running back to you.

 

Call a hot line. The world doesn't end just for a girl. There's a sea filled with billions of them. Just remember to think positive and know that things may not get better but at least you are here to experience this world to the fullest.

 

Your not the only one in that boat, my girl friend left me and now talks to one of my old best friends, just get your mind off of it by going out and doing something with your friends

I've got no one. no one likes me. I have no friends. my family hate me. They've tried disowning me. Told me millions of times that they don't regard me as their son. what the hell am I supposed to do.

 

Find a professional to talk to and tell them how you feel about everything.

I would try to go out and meet some new friends. Think of things you like and find places where those people with similar interests hang out.

If your parents don't like you then talk to them. It's fathers day today. Try calling your family.

 

It was really nice talking to you. You seem like a great person and you have so many reasons to continue living out life to its fullest. Just remember that everyone has hard times in their lives, but when you overcome those times you will have new found wisdom. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Don't let your great personality go to waste, there is so many great things about yourself. I am looking forward to talking to you again tomorrow. I hope you have a wonderful life.

 

This happens to everyone. It's part of life. It will take time but you will get over it. Try to take your mind off it. Find a hobby that you can really sink your teeth in. Just find something to do.

You were doing something right if you got a girlfriend. I'm guessing this was your first seeing as you say you're suicidal after breaking up with her. I have news for you, that's almost expected with every male at some point, meeting who they think is the love of their life then breaking up and feeling awful. There's no real advice someone can give you to feel better, only you in time yourself can make yourself feel betting if you feel like picking your sorry ass up and start living. There will be other women, you can make friends if you really want to, anyone can practically. You're most likely young I'm guessing, don't let this moment give you an excuse to hate life, there will be brighter days.

 

Went through the same thing 2 years ago, I was 16, family disowned me, I moved out left school, moved in with girlfriend, she ended up leaving me after a year and a half.
Everyone goes through this and as soon as you can learn to get over these types of things the better off you will become better off.
Breaking up is just a part of life, dont get into a relationship thinking "shes the one".. not at this age. Just find out what you did wrong, what this other guy has that you dont and improve yourself (not telling you to change yourself, but maybe your ways). You will find someone else, just dont sit around feeling sorry for yourself.

 

Get yourself a job or find a hobby and put 100% of your effort into it. Just take your mind off of it for the time being. It will help to come back to it later.

If you are seriously considering this, and you can not think of anything else, then please just wait one month before you do anything. That will give you a lot of time to think about it.

You know what the best thing you can do right now is? Get drunk. I'm not saying go get wasted and puke everywhere, but just have a few drinks and relax. I don't know how you feel about alcohol, but it numbs pain and that is EXACTLY what you need right now.

 

Speaking from the perspective of someone diagnosed with bipolar disorder here, don't make hasty decisions. I went through a horrible few months in 2009/10 and attempted to end my life on several occasions. I've never been more glad to say that I failed each time.

All I have to say is that it will get better. It might hurt a lot now, but things improve and you'll wonder why you ever beat yourself up so much about it. You just need to find something that will take your mind off it. I found that enrolling at a college was the perfect thing for me to do to escape the darkness I was facing. It was like someone took the black cloud away that had been looming over me.

Things will improve, just hang in there even if it feels like there's nothing to hang on for.

 

I feel exactly the same way, she left me 2 days ago and I can't seem to get over her at all. I've dreamt about her both nights since then, and every little detail of life reminds me of her. But its true, theres plenty more fish in the sea, and I can guarentee you'll find someone better!

 

I went trough this aswell, and i remember this was a year ago from now. I was getting drunk after my girlfriend told me, that shes breaking up with me, then i got drunk with my friends, and then i came up with the dumbest idea like jump down from a bridge, i even went there and almost jumped... but i am very glad that i did not. Now i realize how pointless it is to make a suicide because of a Girl...
