whats so good about 1 defence on accs..?

whats so good about an account having 1 defence?
I dont get it ?
Im starting a pure acc with 99 defence am i doing a good thing or ?
will it sell for good?
just the main question is whats so good about 1 def?

The main thing about 1 defense is that it gives you room to increase your damage causing skills without raising your combat too much.

 

Essentially - big hits, low combat.

Whereas high defense would be great defense, hard to k0 someone.

 

Pures are fun at low levels, but get old quick. They hit good and have low combat. Once higher combat, they will be pretty much useless against anyone with high def though. You are making a good choice by getting 99 def. Being able to PvM instead of just PvP is a real plus also. In my opinion, range tanks are the best. They are only level 98 combat maxed at 99 def, 99 range, 99 mage, 99 hp, 75 attack and strength with 1 prayer and summoning and can destroy just about anyone.

 

Unless your making a range tank with no attack and strength this account will not be a pure. If you have 99 in all combat stats its a maxed main, then their are barrows pures which usually have 99 att/str and 70 defence, then there is turm pures which have between 45 - 70 defence but also have 95 prayer for turmoil.. and then you have the lowly 1 defence pure, which can effectively PK in gear under 100k.

Most people new to pure start off as low defence as they can and slowly but surely get board and being to level defence in stages. Well thats how i did it anyways.
