wtf?!!?? BANNED FOR BOTTTING FOR 18 HOURS!!!

now this, this is what you do.

I think it's up to 6-10 hours for maximum botting time, any more is way too much.

theres been a mass band spree usually only 13 days and if we re commit the crime it goes up by 8days ithink, tin the 13 days ithink there seeing what stats we botted so they can reset them=/

Shitty, but people get banned everyday. Get smarter about botting buddy, because clearly Jagex is.

When you bot you take the risk of being banned even if it is for "only 18 hours". Also, Jagex has been cracking down on botting and banning more people than ever. I've seen a few threads where J mods will go to a random location on a random world at a certain time and ban all bots he/she finds.

 

To everyone saying botting 18 hours is way to much, you are all wrong

it doesn't matter how long you bot, botting 10 hours or 24/7 makes no difference

What causes people to get banned is that they bot in really common places, bot gets stuck in random for long period of time, player reporting, getting owned by bot hunting session

i maxed out a main in 2 months with 85 slayer + 99 mining and other non combat skills as well and have not been banned, you have to be smart and not bot in obv spots.

Plus there is a 1-2 week delay before you get banned so there might be a chance that mining didn't get you a ban. (P.S i've gotten 1-99 mining twice in to weeks without a ban)

 

sorry to hear man, very unlucky considering I've botted mulitple accounts at times over 20 hours a day (not very smart looking back) for about a year now and still no bans (knock on wood). I recommend submitting an appeal to jagex, be somewhat honest, try to state your case that you understand why macroing shouldn't be tolerated, and all that stuff, then explain why you deserve a second chance.

 

Whats with the wtf??? You were expecting your account to be not banned by botting? -_-

 

Were you using a free script? You never know, it might of glitched up in a random event for 4 hours. That would've got you banned for sure.
