Isn't it frustrating to think that...

Somebody on this planet owns a 2001 created level 3 account called
something like 'dragonkiller12312312' and it has 20 of each party hat,
10 crackers and it has not been logged in to for 4000 days haha! imagine the
real life $$$

 

What would the amount of the inactive rares be? =p

Well, didn't jagex delete accounts if they didn't log in for so many days? This would still be cool if someone could recover the accounts. But nobody knows the names.

They deleted the names of those accounts - freed them up as display names. The accounts are still in existence though.

Also, if you're looking for account names all you'd have to do is find some old screenshots and go through the names that appear there.

 

Even worse would be if the person has just completely forgot about something called 'Runescape', leaving the account to just collect dust for the rest of time.

 

This, or forgot about Runescape all together.

Yeah when runescape where in front page of miniclip theres over thousand of pplz who made acc get few rares and just leave the game.

Yeah I logged onto an account I remembered that I had back in like 'the day lmao, I was like please let me have kept that stupid santa hat I had back then but when I logged on all I had was 350k :/ but it made me change my username so I thought that was pretty cool.

I waited through that dial up speed and played my heart out lol.
