Sounds like a wannabe hacker group to me. I doubt any real damage was done.

They hacked the senate a few days ago because that will probably involve the NSA. I expect a short takedown if NSA becomes involved. These guys are idiotic anarchical trolls and should be locked up.

about the goverment hacking i doubt that, they don't use computers like we do * pentagon and stuff like that anyways* They run completely on a different setup that can't get windows/mac viruses.

I doubt these people are too much of a problem. Hackers that label themselves usually end up getting caught, if you are going to cause such controversy, at least do it anonymously. The obvious attention seeking bothers me.

Haha, you must be stupid or something. The government computers can still get viruses and get hacked but they have counter-hackers available.

If you want to see some good hacking, go back to the Stone Age of the internet (the 80's) and look up the Hacking Wars between Legion of Doom and the other group I can't remember.

I hate hackers. Why don't they use there knowledge for good. Many hackers actually have a good amount of knowledge, if they put it towards good use they could do great things.

I like hackers, I think its cool that such a small group with the right knowledge can basically take down countries. Cyber-wars are the future.

Imagine having a foreign middle-east extremest group hack into multiple nuclear reactors located in the states and cause a meltdown using just computers. That could in itself cripple the country.

How the hell can you like hackers? You think its "cool" when people get there personal information exploited at the enjoyment of computer nerds? I think it's sinful. Now don't get me wrong I think white hat hackers are great. There the guys that hack for good causes like for there country. White hat hackers are often lets known then black hat hackers. White hats are almost always better hackers then black hats and eventually take down all the "bad guys".

Are you freaking kidding me? I had three of my websites hacked about 8 months ago by muslim terrorists and it ruined me. My site was defaced and replaced some religious muslim BS. It cost me tons of money to fix and and I lost so many customers that I had to close down my site and shut down my company. The muslim hackers gained nothing from it but they destroyed my life. But ya your right its really "cool". You "like" people getting there house burned down in a fires too? Or do you like burglars who break into people's house and steal all of the things they cherish? Until you have been personally effected by the evils of hacking don't talk about it, or at least choose your words more carefully. I believe that people who are skilled with computers and are able to do powerful things are cool as long as they use their knowledge for good.

You do know those are the people who took down PSN? And hacked Sonys picture sharing website (even though it was done by a simple SQL inject or something around that, cba to look up exact details), among numerous other sites.

    Pretty sad.

    Meh.

That's what happens when you take shortcuts.

Individual level: O, I'll make all my passwords the same, and all my recovery answers easily attainable, that way I can easily remember them.
Hacker: Uses social engineering and Google.

Company level: O, let's cut corners with the security system, who cares about our database, it's not like anyone would bother hacking it anyway.
    Hacker: Scripts.

Cut corners, and you'll end up hitting a brick wall; 123456 isn't a secure password, and no matter how advanced a system is, it will never be a secure password.

    This is very, very true.

My opinion is, if you don't care enough to secure it well then it is your fault you got hacked. This goes from personal level up to company level.

The High level secuirity computers the government uses Isn't like normal computers. There not prone to be hacked/invaded like PC/MAc etc. it's of completely different format.

Try looking up your facts and reading fully before you go to insult someone. that just makes you look like the idiot.

The victims will not get my sympathy.

Tell me this; how do you know that they're Muslim terrorists? You have no proof. If I hacked your website and put some random Christian pictures, would you blame them or the Muslims? You're so stupid.
