Who is going to runefest?

Yeaa i live in New York sooooo i dont care about runescape enough to go to london, meet some creepy people, and play the same game i could be playing at home except surrounded by smelly people.

 

Bit of an unfair generalization. I play RS and my hygiene level is probably above average.. (No pun intended)

 

I'd go there just to see how nerdy other players are ^_^

 

Well so is mine :laugh: but it seems like the only people who would care enough to go are the strange ones.

 

Well, I would go if it was free, purely for the experience. Regardless of how nerdy it may seem, I think the atmosphere would be pretty cool, and I'm sure most people would be in the same boat - unsure of what to expect. I doubt it's a complete freakshow.

 

Have you guys seen last years pictures? It looked really... wrong. No way I'm going.

Its tough enough dealing with these kids through the computer, let alone in the real world, Ill have to pass. I prefer events where the majority of the attending population actually have gone through puberty.

 

Dude, sure I enjoy it. But I enjoy football and my social life a lot more.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to be 18 to go, either way, from the videos and pictures I've seen, most people are 18+.

 

I'm not going to go, but I'll probably enter the golden gnome awards.

 

I'd 100% go if I was there at the time. I wouldn't make such a big deal about flying there, spending loads of money, etc. I'd have to bust out that I'm a gp dealer on Sythe to somebody though. I highly doubt just because your at RuneFest, all of the people there do everything legit. I mean it's a convention. Your obviously going to find somebody that cheats.

 

If it was close, I'd definitely get fake ID's and go with a few of my Sythe buds in Sythe.org tee shirts, just to fuck with everyone.

Runefest last year was prertty funny. I watched a few vids on youtube of it. They just did some IRL Pvp fights, drop parties and had runescape food there.

 

I'd go there wearing an Impsoft t-shirt.

I'd go if I had the spare change. But I would be there mostly to troll people. I'd have to wear a "I botted my 99s" or something like that.

Just give them crap and see what Fagex does. Might get into trouble though, which would be funny.
