Misunderstanding, extensive proof inside.

Hello Sythe, recently after returning home today after volunteering for 4 hours, I discovered I was banned for Account Recovering and Reselling, I hope this is a huge misunderstanding and I hope I can get this cleared up since I leave for New Mexico to go hiking for 12 days.

There's only 2 possible explanations for my ban since I was banned for Recovering Accounts

=Scenario 1=

I was banned for Account Recovering and Reselling, on this site I've only sold 1 account, which was a maxed out main for 1800M a couple days ago, the person I sold the account is currently offline on MSN right now so I can't contact him.

I sold the account for my friend whom I've known for about 5 years now, and I met when we were both beginners on Runescape, he was leaving for college this coming fall and told me he wanted to sell his account to get some College money since his family is in a financial crisis, I declined at first but I gave in after much badgering. The person who contacted me did not vouch me after the sale so I do not know his Sythe forum name, his hotmail however, is [email protected]

If the account above is the reason why I am banned, I am willing to recover the account back or refund the 1800M if my recovery is unsuccessful.

However, the user did contact me days after purchasing the account that he lost quite a large amount to staking as depicted in these chatlogs below:

Hopefully I wasn't set up so he could try and get a refund for the account. I will NOT refund the user for the account if my recovery is successful, since he has all my information on the account which can be used against me if he's trying to frame me [Speak with I Fatality I for more information regarding the account recovery scam, he should be able to explain it to you]

However, if my recovery attempt is unsuccessful and the original user is unresponsive or unwilling to help, I will refund the user his 1800M RSGP.

=Scenario 2=

Recently, I placed another account for sale, a maxed zerker with 51 defense. When I first joined Sythe I tried selling a DIFFERENT maxed zerker, my original account, but was unsuccessful since I didn't get the price I wanted. Although it's hard to prove that the account is still the same (I got 99 defense on the account, and it was recently reset while botting frost dragons) I believe there is a way to prove that the account is mine.

However, if you look at all the topics I placed for the account, I didn't sell my original account, and the account I listed recently is an entirely different account.

I blocked out a majority of the stats on the new account so I decided to take another screenie with the full stats of the account.

If you look at the screenshot and the topic, you'll clearly see that the stats match with the screenshot provided.

As you can see, the stats are totally off, since my Crafting, RC, Mining, Herblore, Farming, & Firemaking levels are higher on my original account (No way to go backwards in stats unless the account has been reset, in which case it's HIGHLY unlikely that upon being reset, I raised my defense from 47->51)

Once again, I still have 100% access to both accounts at the moment, and I am more than willing to verify that in-game if necessary

Anyways, I hope this is all a huge misunderstanding, from what other users have told me there was no scam report placed on me and Plznate was the one that issued the ban. I hold absolutely no hard feelings due to the fact that I was banned, but above is the solid facts.

I've never ban evaded, scammed, hacked, or done anything against the "Sythe Code" and was just recently promoted to Official Guide Verifier and received my 200th Vouch earlier today. If a mod/admin could contact me regarding which Scenario caused my ban, that'd be greatly appreciated.

After talking with Karl, evidently one of the deciding factors as to why I was banned was due to the fact that I was editting posts in my "Famous Zerker" topics.

The reason I was doing so was because in those topics, the emails I listed for people to contact me were personal emails, when I first joined Sythe I had people contact me on a hotmail address that was linked to my facebook/myspace etc etc. I have since stopped using that email, but took a precaution since I did not want to get hacked like many trusted users on this site do since I believe it is linked to some of my previous hotmails as the "backup email" which contacts you if someone tries to recover your hotmail. Not only did I edit posts in my "Famous Zerker" topics, but I believe I editted all of my older topics as well if a mod could look into that also.

Also, apparently there were claims that I had sold the account, NOWHERE in ANY of the topics that I posted did I claim to have sold the accounts, if someone does claim to have bought the account, they are lying. Please have them upload proof of trade. Knowing my RSN is not proof enough of the trade since I gave out my username to several Sythe members, and if one is active on Runescape Community or the Rune Pure/Tank Community, they would know my RSN.

And like I stated earlier, the account I listed for sale now is an entirely different account from my "Famous Zerker" which I'm willing to verify ingame if a mod/admin has a couple minutes they can dedicate to this dispute.

The problem was that you'd edit everything out of an sale thread the same day you posted a new one, multiple times.

The reason I did that was because I didn't want multiple topics which I couldn't keep up with. At the time I was unaware of the "Subscribed Topics" feature of Sythe, and I would close my previous topic to post a new one since it was updated.

The account was not a maxed zerker, but I quickly built up fame on youtube after advertising on Runescape Community and getting a shoutout from another famous youtuber which doubled the amount of subscribers I had from 1,000 to 2,000. After listing the account for sale for about a day and not getting the offers I expected, I forgot about the topic and went back to training the account.

After finally maxing out my account I decided to make a new topic since the stats were totally changed from the first time I listed the account for sale. It went from 75-92-45 (if I remember correctly) to 99-99-45, so I dedicated an entirely new topic for it and closed my other one since it was inaccurate and I wanted to keep all my dealings on one topic. I began getting a lot of good offers but was still hesitant to sell the account since I was still somewhat addicted to runescape.

After getting several $1,000+ offers, I decided to go with the highest offer at the time, but they turned out to be bogus, and the bidders were unresponsive or were banned and left no contact information.

To much avail, I decided to cease sales once again and continue playing on the account.

Once again, after convincing myself that I was done with runescape, I decided to put the account up for sale yet again. With the release of summoning, I quickly advanced to lvl 88 summoning, which was quite rare at the time especially on a Rune Pure (Combat lvl: 112+11 as the topic title depicts.)

After listing the account for a day or two, I began telling my friends at school that I had quit and that I was selling my account on Sythe. One of my friends offered to buy my account for an iPhone + $770 which I accepted. As the trade was done irl and not on Sythe, I don't have any evidence that the trade went through, I simply knew the user in real life and we made the transaction after school one day. The only evidence I have of the account being sold was the "reason for edit" found in this post: http://sythe.org/showpost.php?p=6442444&postcount=1

However, a couple days later I was approached by the same kid who wanted a tradeback since he told me his mom found out, I hadn't spent any of the money nor sold the iPhone, so I gave him a full refund for my account and I once again was stuck with my account. Again, I did the entire trade offsite so I don't have any evidence or proof of sale, everything was traded in real life and the money was given to me in cash, as opposed to electronically. I still have that friend added on facebook today, if you wish for me to have him talk to you (though I think you'd have to add him on facebook since he doesn't use MSN)

Recently, a friend of mine approached me asking to sell his account for him, just like the first time I sold an account for a friend, I told him I would do so if the information he gave to me passed an account recovery check, which it did.

In the topic, I provided this screenshot:


Here is an uneditted picture of the full stats of the account (I blotted out the username however):


Again, this is an entirely different account from my "Famous Zerker" which I can verify ingame.

The "Famous Zerker" that I had for sale currently I had maxed out entirely, having achieved 99 Defense about 2-3 months ago. However the account was recently reset to 99-97-94 after botting frost dragons.

Below is the last pic I have of the account when it was a berserker pure, I was getting construction up to obtain the Korasi Sword, and after messing with Korasi and other OP weapons, I was bored of having 99 attack and decided to get 99 defense on this account:



As you can see, the Crafting, RC, Mining, Herblore, Farming, & Firemaking levels on the account I have for sale now is LOWER than the ending stats of my "famous zerker". The only way to have accounts go backwards in stats is a reset, but as I stated before, I am more then willing to verify ingame that these are two seperate accounts.

Once again, to fully address the points brought up:

-The reason why I editted out old topics when I created new ones was because I didn't want hackers to have access to my personal email address which could be helpful in case someone tries to hack me or obtain more personal information about me to recover my accounts. Also, I wanted to keep everything on one topic, instead of having several topics open for the same purpose. As shown earlier, I do this for all my topics when I create new ones.

-I had sold my "famous zerker" to an irl friend for $770+iPhone (see above) and any Sythe member claiming to have bought the account is lying and possibly trying to frame me. I refunded my friend literally a day or two later, after he pleaded his case that his mom found out about the trade. I gave him back his iPhone + 770$, and he turned over access to the account to me.

-The account I have for sale is NOT the same as my "famous zerker" which I am willing to prove ingame if one of you has the time to meet me.

To all Globals/Admins,

The only reason why I am posting these last tidbits is because I leave in 6 hours to go hiking in New Mexico in 2 weeks. As it looks like my dispute will be settled when I am gone, I am trying to post as much information as possible regarding my ban so a decision can be made without me being here. Once again, if you guys feel as if I left something out or am missing something, please do not close this dispute because I did not respond in a timely fashion, I do not come back from my vacation until July 1, exactly 14 days from now.

I understand the cause of events behind my account selling were very coincidental. I assure you if the mods go back and review the posts I edit, some of them will contain a hotmail address I tried to cover up from harmful Sythe members, so hackers could not use it against me to compromise my current email address and Sythe account. The reason why I did this so late into my Sythe career was because as I was getting more and more trusted, I began receiving numerous emails from hotmail regarding account recovery which weren't spurned by myself.

Below are some other posts in my topics (some not even regarding account sales) that I believe to contain my old hotmail address, I'm not sure if all these have them, but I'm fairly certain some of them do. If the admin that backtracks my edits could look into these as well, that would be greatly appreciated.

Again, I'm not sure if the posts above contain the old email address, but I am quite certain at least one of them does. Most of the posts above were editted in early May, an entire month before I listed my current berserker pure for sale.

From what the globals/sectionals have told me, I was banned for apparently recovering and reselling my famous zerker on accounts that I editted posts in previous topics when I made new topics.

As the hard evidence above states, in all 3 of the topics I was unsuccessful in selling the berserker account, and the only trade I managed to find was a $770 + iPhone trade done in real life which ended up being reversed once his mom found out about the trade. Once again, anybody on Sythe claiming to have bought my account is lying, and please have them post proof of the trade as I am certain they have none.

Also, the berserker pure I have for sale now is not even the same account as my "famous zerker" and had a mod contacted me before banning me, I could have proven it to them within minutes.

Below are my contributions to Sythe:
-Held the rank of Official Guide Verifier
-50$ Donor
-Exactly 200 Vouches
-99/99 [100% Feedback] Successful transaction completed on PlayerAuctions
-Successfully middlemanned 25 trades (24 on my OMM app, couldn't put the 25th trade on it since I'm banned)
-Submitted 15 scam reports, all which led to bans, and countless spam reports
-Traded over $16,000 worth with users having gone to me in trades in excess of $1,000
-Relatively active member since January 2009, with over 1,800 Posts.

Please take everything into consideration, I'm not going to go into further detail as to why I deserve to be on Sythe due to this being a dispute instead of a high pardon, but in courtesy of the countless hours I've spent on Sythe, I would greatly appreciate it if a decision was made after reading my entire dispute (all 4 posts)

Once again, thank you for your time spent on this dispute, and I look forward to hearing my decision when I return from New Mexico in 14 days.

It seems to match up, coincidence it may be, considering no reports were ever made too.

 

Can an Admin do a quick check to see if the edits Snow Patrol made were indeed just to remove his MSN? If so, I see no reason as to why he should remain banned.

 

There is no way we can view previous versions of posts.

 

Not sure how we go about resolving this then.

 

The only proof we have to suggest that he did something was deleting of threads, there was never any signs of him being reported.

 

If he resold an account this many times I find it nearly impossible to not be reported multiple times, let alone only once.

I'm staying as far away from this as possible, I havent even re-reviewed everything yet

I got the p_anic and upfired and coinshare situations to deal with already

 

Honestly, you showing stats of random accounts that we have no way of verifying if they are really the ones you claim you were selling will not do much. Based on the 5 different threads that you made depicting what appears to be the same account multiple times, in addition to the suspicious edits after each new thread you made (if you deleted the post simply because you wanted to get rid of your new MSN, then why would you post it again in each thread? And if you didnt post it again in each thread, then why the need to delete the post again before making the next sale thread of what appears to be the same account?), it all looks extremely fishy.

 

Snow Patrol is currently away, therefore what we see in front of us is what we must act upon, I suggest A TwC that can be appealed in 6 months time.

The reasons for this because simply there has been no actual reports of recovery, only poor trading habits, we only have suspicion and no evidence to suggest otherwise.
