Can Jagex see your MAC Address?

I don't know, maybe. I mean, you are logging into their servers, and your computer is sending them information, but I'm not sure. Why do you want to know?

 

Yes, they can see it. I have a MAC address aswell..

No one can view your MAC address. Your MAC address can only be seen by others connected to your local network. For the people above me, don't answer a question if you have no clue what the answer is.

 

Jagex cannot see your mac address.

If you do not trust that they cannot you can change your local mac address in less time than you can change your local ip.

Your router's wan mac MAY have to always be left the same if that is how your isp authenticates you but that is also changeable.

 

This, sometimes people need to research the question before they answer.

 

Not true. Explain why two people can log in whilst connected to the same network as long as they're on different computers?

They don't check the MAC Address for login. They check the IP address. That's why it says.. Last Login IP: or whatever.

 

I'm pretty sure that Last Login IP is for account security purposes and not for information on whether or not if they check IP addresses for multiple logins.

 

They check IP addresses for logging in with multiple accounts, however, there are still easy ways around it. For instance, logging in at the exact same time on both accounts will bypass the block.

Your MAC address is not viewable by ANY party over the internet. Sythe.org cannot view your MAC address, Apple.com cannot view your MAC address, NO ONE can view your MAC address, except fellow users on your network.

Your MAC address is used to identify computers on the same local network (LAN connection). It is an internal identifier, your IP address is an external identifier.

 

Its not possible to view MAC addresses across IPv4 so NO there is a 0% chacnce they can, they use ip addresses only.
