Is powerbot dying? Its been down for 3 days :noworry:

RSBuddy is working fine for me, Maybe I just got in at the right time?

 

PowerBot has turned malicious. Anything that alters ones systems root files without the owners consent, especially with malice and aforethought is none other than malicious.

So, hopefully that answers your questions as to why it's popularity is on a decline.

 

^ that. I have learnt my lesson from powerbot... Never have your username and password saved or else you will get cleaned. Many other Sythe users have posted threads about their accounts getting randomly cleaned. I used to love their bots before (when they had their old website). After the massive GP clean a few months ago, they have lost heaps of users because most people are scared to get their accounts cleaned.

Obviously that lead to a massive decline in popularity. Hopefully soon everyone opens their eyes and can see that their staff is corrupt.

 

I am talking more about their forum. I would never use their bots, I don't even know how aha :noworry:

 

I personally was against them totally due to reports about their currupt mods and hacking ways .. since iDung moved to RsBuddy i never use PB so meh

 

In order to access their forum now, it comes up with a screen requiring a 'one-time security verification process'. Obliging this, as you must click this in order to access and browse the forums you have been inflicted with the said malicious software, which capabilities seems to only be limited to blocking rsbuddy.com from being accessed.

I'm not sure as to whether this 'feature' is still in place. Nevertheless, the fact is that, iDung moving combined with the introduction of true malicious activities is the straw that broke the camels back.

 

The Verified middlemen are corrupt, scammed 100m, also scammed 200m from a mod.

 

I tried to get into it once over there while I was banned here.....gave up really fast....too many idiots over there for me.

 

It seems like all of these communities and organizations slowly die eventually. Right now could be the start of the downfall of powerbot. Although some people would argue that their downfall started after that hacking incident. I gave up on those sites after a few weeks, I did not really like it over there.

 

PowerBot (then RSBot) went to the shitter back in late 2008 when the MyBB forums died.

I'm sure it'll be back up eventually, though probably not soon.

 

Rsbuddy > Powerbot.

 

PowerBot is some sketchy shit.

I hope all the staff go bankrupt.

 

I prefer RSBuddy, and that'd be only for Dung.
