GFX Feedback thread.

Hello Sythe community. The suggestion I am proposing is a "GFX Feedback thread." Many people have suggested to be able to vouch for GFX, but have been denied due to the fact there is so risk involved. The GFX Feedback thread will sort of work like a vouch thread, however instead of using this as a sign of trust, it can be used as a sign of quality. The closest thing I see to this on the DNS list is a Rep/Thank system. If a mod feels that this falls under this category please lock it.

There are many pro's and a few con's to my suggestion.

PRO'S:

- The GFX artist receives feedback about what the customer liked.
- Brings in more customers.
- Makes the customers job easier when it comes to choosing who to purchase from
- GFX artist's are credited in some way for their creative work.

CON'S:

- Feedback might not always be accurate.
- Some newcomers might see this as a sign of trust and get scammed.

This feedback can easily be placed in the member's sales thread? There's no need for an additional one.

 

Hmm, this is an interesting idea. I have yet to see someone make anything similar to it. I'm still not sure about my support, I would like to get more in depth information about what you are suggestion.

However if I understand the basic concept correctly are you suggesting:
A seperate forum just for "GFX Feedback" where people would make GFX Feedback threads? Just like how the vouch forum works like?

Would this only be for positive feedback and for all of the people's gfx in general?

And could someone just post something like "Oh I like ___'s signature, good GFX work." or would they have to have bought GFX from the user?

I'm skeptical because I feel like people already do this whenever they make a new graphic. I see a lot of C&C threads, I don't understand the overall difference between that and what you are suggesting.

I personally can't see how it would work out. Possibly expanding on the idea more may help. However at the moment I do not support.

 

You could sort of say the same about vouch threads. Put your vouches in your selling/buying thread. However it'll be over crowded and unattractive.

Works like a vouch form

Example: blazee's GFX Feedback

Person A:
*inserts the GFX that was made.*
blazee was easy to talk to about and understood what I wanted. He completed my signature with no hassle and listening to what I had to say.

 

There's already a system called Reccomendations, instead of saying Vouch for a Graphic made, you say "I recommend" and you go on how great his service was.

 

I just post all of my completed GFX into the main post of my shop thread, and let the customers decide whether they're good or not. Since everyone has a different opinion, just because one user likes your GFX doesn't mean everyone will. It's would be very opinionated feedback, rather than the absolute system of Vouches. When someone has 100 vouches, you can tell they're pretty trusted. But if someone has 100 good GFX feedbacks, all you can see is that 100 people like their graphics.

 

No support. No need for a thread for it.

 

The vouch forum was created not because vouches made people's threads crowded and unattractive - it's purpose was so people could collectively have all their vouches in one place rather than scattered across the MANY MANY facets of the market. Each time someone sold an account or bought an item that's another single vouch in a single thread... a vouch thread is necessary to keep a record of all of them in one place.

The Graphics Sales section consists of only ONE SECTION. There is no need to create an additional section just to have 'a thread that represents the feedback of another thread'
