The katana doesn't look that cool imo, so I don';t really care, lol.

 

1. Complain about a major corporation wanting to make money.
2. Be on Sythe, probably to sell Jagex related things to make money for yourself.
3. Realize you want money too.
4. Realize you're jealous of a multi-million dollar corp that markets a game to teens.
5. Cry.

I think it looks cool, might have to get one for myself.

The stats fail, 14 str bonus, you need 1 att and 1 str to use it.

It's basically a collectors item/for show.

 

I figured that it would have horrible stats. However I have a feeling it may look pretty cool in game when wielded. Jagex can be dumb at times, however I do not think that they would ever bee dumb enough to implement a item in RS that has good stats and can only be obtained through real life money.

 

A lot of games these days are making bank off of micro transactions.

I won't be surprised when Jagex starts using micro transactions themselves. Especially since at the moment they are doing whatever they can to get people to spend money on P2P.

 

I'm gonna get this katana, it looks cool. And this isn't a micro transaction, your paying for members but you just get an extra item

Yea and they can spawn any number of any item they want, though I think Jagex has some restrictions on trades with J-mods to stop abuse.

If Jagex did start selling gp/items, it would be done officially.

 

This is so stupid, Only available in the U.S? If you are able to weild it at 1 attack i would buy it for my defence pure. Great Bonuses for a Defence pure but for anything else.. Biggest crap ever.

There seems to be a trend in this thread, if you read through most of the kids who are like 'Oh, Jagex I'm gonna suck your katana because I get it with my membership' are Sythe noobs. What does it say about noobs on sythe? They're retards, though this is a generalization I would like to open an invitation to anyone whining about us complaining about Jagex and being Jagex fanboys to please GTFO.

This in game item is retarded, it shows just how awful RS has got.
