I know many of you are big time dicers... this is just my experience with it. Any thoughts?

 

Nice video, that was risky though. I lost another 500M dicing this afternoon.

Wow. Thats tough.

Sure, the odds are only 40%. But the way I see it, it took me 2 months to make 55mil. Some might cite that I suck at making money, but taking this as fact it becomes a bit daunting trying to get to 117m. My goal from the beginning was a mask; having to work another 2 months of investing was not something I could handle though. I think it's amazing that this service is possible in runescape; 40% chance of doubling your entire savings? Some might say its a statistical absurdity to bet on that, but think of how great those odds are, considering the circumstances of how most people make their money. Its amazing.

Excellent point. The cc I used was "Win All Day." They make their generals pay 1.5b to be ranked. Host Shark has lots of reputation but there are so many impersonators and scammers, it really is <40% odds (Although 60x2 is technically 41% odds)

I have a friend that made enough for full Torva from hosting dice games.

 

I'm embarrassed to say I dont know what Torva is. I'm an old school scaper; I'm only interested in discontinueds, the rest has no where to go but down in value. Right now Ive got a green mask and a santa; I'm hoping to maybe get a blue by the end of this month if I dice correctly.

I dont understand how that percentile thing works? And how come u sidnt roll ut the hosts did?

 

1. The 'hoster' rolls two ten-sided dice. The idea is that they roll two dice, and one is the first digit and the other is the second (and in the case of a 10-10 roll, the total is 100). This is probably just to keep the 'hey its gambling' appeal, even though its probably just a 1-100 random number generator.

2. I am a random runescaper, whereas this host (Host Shark) is someone who paid Win All Day 1.5 billion GP to be given a rank. They are hosting the roll, and since they are willing to double my money, I have to give them my bet and they roll to ensure I dont try to scam them.

Oh thats interesteing. I diced the other day, tripled my money but with dragon dyce, its a different system

 

Ive got 1 month membership. Im gonna do some creative, conservative dicing to see if i can wrack up a few more rares. After that, dumping them on a storage account and only playing occasionally to check prices and what not.

 

With dragon dyce, its 50/50 instead of 60/40 because you are not going against the host but another person, which is the only way i would want to gamble. I originally switched from box staking to dicing 2-6sided dice because there were just too many glitches surrounding staking.

Lucky, I will never do that stuff ever again... I hope. I did it one day to try to make 10M to give away to noobs in a drop party but ended up losing 100s lol.

 

Let's just say that, after this experience, 75 became my new favorite number
