Add a sticky in RS2 cheating

I hate all of these threads that pop up asking
"IF I BOT A NOOB AND HE GETS BANNED WILL MY MAIN GET BANNED?"

Someone needs to add a sticky so people can read it, rather than 10 threads a day coming up.

 

I think that is would be helpful to have a sticky that gives a lot of general information and facts about different types of bans, and reasons for bans. It could prevent a lot of the same questions over and over again. Although I do not think that all ban discussion and questions should be limited to that one thread because those threads still provide good discussion in the forums.

Also it would be helpful because some people would get their answers much quicker.

Differences between the bots
Bans
Best bots (opinionated)
and some more information.

Alough that would be a great idea, you have to assume that not many people are to read it.

 

I suggest people stop making threads like this that are just an easy fix. Could just pitch to a global/rs mod/admin and it'd be done. There's no reason to make a thread about it.

This. If those kind of people read stickies there wouldn't be so much spam. I personally think people who don't read stickies in the respected forum and go ahead and post should be infracted.

^this. Support, Those who do want info will read the stickies, and those who just blindly post should get infracted. Also a thread about safe bots would be nice too if its not already there.

 

There have actually been many of these bot information threads but eventually they just die out because they aren't stickied. Getting one official one that is actually stickied is a good idea.

 

Even if there were a sticky like that people would still want individual advice and say "I read the sticky but I....". Not a bad idea though. I mean if it cuts the amount of will I get banned threads in half then that would still be a big help. In the sticky it should direct the bot users to visit the forums of the bot they use to ask bot related ban questions.

 

I don't think it's necessary, a simple report using the tiny little report button would save you a thousands of characters to type.

 

Reporting a ton of threads shouldn't be needed. A sticky would do just fine.

It's a forum, we could make a sticky for every subject, like dicing, staking, etc., but I think it's kinda useless. Like I said, it's a forum.

On the other side, they can easily google it I guess.

 

idk about it having it's own sticky, that's just more clutter.

We should add a runescape botting FAQ with multiple frequently asked questions. Then it's less clutter and it covers many things.
