Higher post count ranks

It's a nice idea, but there are very few people who this would actually affect. Perhaps if there were a significant amount of people with 5k+ posts who don't have a custom usertitle it would be worth it.

 

Support for 5k, only.

 

For 5K or 10K - should be "Oldtimer", something the opposite of newcomer. I don't think this is a bad suggestion but it isn't needed at the same time. I'm indifferent but it would be neat to see new post ranks.

I noticed the same thing, cause staff gets alot of there posts from reported posts and such... well moderators anyway.

 

This suggestion doesn't apply to me atm but I still support it.

 

It would give me more "energy" to get more active.
As if I'm not active enough :/

edit; and when I reach 5k, I would remove my UT just to have the 5k post rank.

 

I'd like to see it happen as well. I see no harm in it.

 

I like this idea, as I was actually thinking about it the other day. Pointless, yes it can be interpreted that way, but why not? It's added incentive I guess to continue posting beyond Grand Master (?). Although the only person the 5K suggestion has effected in Sythe History is Determinate (Everyone beyond 5K has had some sort of rank, therefore a custom UT), I support

 

Well it will affect Pen, SuF, Tgump and Sin666 as well as myself. All of them have their UT set to Grand Master, ex-mod or not.
With Feren gone, I'm the only other relatively active member left with that many posts who hasn't been a mod/had some other reason to change UT.


Anyway, I'd suggest that there's enough support for the notion of adding a 5k rank. Maybe we should change the discussion to what the rank should be called?
I believe there were a few good suggestions in the old thread made when the admins were considering changing the early post ranks (leecher -> newecomer, etc).

 

I see what you mean, but they all have/had abilities to change UT. It's like an incentive for the general userbase. Feren's was custom too

I like the suggestion of 'Legend' for the stage above Grand Master, 4K seems more suitable to me though.

 

You can't say this suggestion is pointless since the whole User title is pointless, however it doesn't mean it should be removed... This suggestion can't benefit or have a negative impact on the community...

Support, I guess. Rather easy to add, and I can see why some people would care about it (not really including myself amongst them).
