Scam Reports

We need moderators to check more often. I see them post every day in normal threads, but there are 2-3 day old scam reports that haven't even been commented on. Mine is 3 days old, I got chargedback 54$, yet nobody has banned the user, who is still trading. It's not a rant, but please can you spend some of your time when you are online doing the job you get as a moderator, not just closing selling threads and promoting your own.

 

I'm going to go ahead and do two things here.
First off is agree that the mods aren't going scam reports as fast as they should, but
second of all remove FireZ from the above statement.

It bugged me too that someone can begin a scamming spree and have 3 or 4 days to scam until someone bans them.

 

A few threads have been cleared today, kudos to the mods .

 

I made a thread like this a few months back. Staff are just way too busy, they are having difficulties handling everything at once.

I know this is a bad due to the scammer can scam more people, and not be banned. We need more action taken -.-

 

I personally think this is due to a LACK of staff in different time zones, as far as I'm aware there's very few cracking down on the reports.

But props to the current staff that do their job, they do it very well.

OT : Yeah they are busy as fuck, an the guilty get banned eventually, I understand what you mean by "the scammer is still trading" but thats just how it is, sometimes they instantly ban sometimes it takes a while.

 

Now down to only a page and a half. We'll try to clear it completely by tomorrow morning.

Love it how fireZ just writes "Hammered" if they've been banned. That's pro.

Also, Ulti, when did you get a TWC

 

His MSN was hacked multiple times.

 

His current twc has nothing to do with msn hackings as that was cleared up.

 

I wonder if you know how many reports are made per day.
A long with spam reports.

It's much more work than flat-out saying
"Done, thanks"
or
"Hammered"

 

I know it's more work, I have used a vB ACP before.

However, it's still something that should be a priority.

 

I agree with this. I got scammed 2 days ago, and since I was scammed he scammed 2 more people, now there's 3 threads on the guy. I know they viewed my first thread, so I don't see why they didn't take care of it.

Mods aren't fast enough, sorry.

Then scam reports go days without being checked
and you wonder if they will see yours becuz its pages back
and the rules say don't bump threads

 

It'd also be great if everyone could follow formats, or templates, or even for proof that we ask for in the stickies, but we dont always get what we want.

We do try our hardest to maintain them, but its hard work, sorry if we slack a little.

 

Yet staff members were protesting on my thread that there's enough staff. This tells me, and others, otherwise.

 

We need scam reports mods or something. ;o

 

Promoting new staff wont help. Doing Scam reports isnt something you should jump into, it requires a month or two of moderating and understanding the ropes, some however do it quicker than others.

We just need the current staff to work on them more, not more staff that wont.

 

You have a point, I can understand the lengths of time required to make a fair judgment/be able to make one in the first place. But by appointing even 1 or 2 new staff that will help get the job done quicker wouldn't hurt at all.
