The Heat will be back. This just wasn't their year. Mavericks wanted it more.

If the Mavs didn't win that'd just be stupid.

All their veterans deserved it so much, you can't argue with that.

Dirk,Terry,Kidd - nice to see them all get their rings.

As individuals, many people on that team have always lost in the finals, this was long awaited.

Jason Kidd finalyl gets a ring, great job by the Mavs. It doesnt feel as good because the Heats could've swept it, but gave it up.

The Heat couldn't have swept the Mavs. How did you expect them to do that against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA? The Mavs obviously deserved the win. LeBron choked and couldn't finish out a game. Dwayne Wade decided to celebrate early just because they were in the lead, but Dirk shat on them.

Tired of Heat bandwagoners saying they should have won. Oh well, more criticism towards LeBrick James.

Could have been won, but like I said, the Heat don't know how to finish games. The Mavs are just extremely good at closing down and finishing them.

Miami Heats, I am dissapointed. Even though you had star players, your defensive side was lacking. Mavericks won this due to they are good at offensive and defensive. This is SHAME.

    Congratulations Mavs, you earnt it.

Heat will be back, look who they have... They should draft a guy like Deandre Liggins in the draft, great defensive guy.

    Gratz mavs.

Jason Terry was unbelievable in the finals, and Dirk was unstoppable all playoffs.

The heat were also good at closing and finishing games throughout the playoffs. Before the finals they only lost 3 games, and went undefeated at home. They just struggled against a determined Mavs team, mostly because LeBron James couldn't perform in the 4th quarter.

As I've said before, Mavs fans enjoy your victory, your team deserved it. The experience of the Mavs dominated the skill of the big 3.

Although I do believe, the Mavs will not win another championship for 10+ years, and the heat will be competing for one next year. So enjoy it for now, but don't expect a dynasty, as I expect in the Heat.

I'm a huge Mavs fan since JKidd switch from NJ to Dallas. But, I was wishing for Chicago to beat the Heat and I really think the Finals would have been different and Dallas wouldn't have got away with a 4-2 win. Dallas did deserve it tho!!!

I'm not a heat hater per se' I just really thought that Kidd and Dirk really deserved a ring after all these years.

I'll be the first to admit I absolutely HATE the Heat. However, you can't argue with what they did. Regardless of the talent at his disposal, a young head coach helped lead a team to the NBA Finals (where they competed) in their very first year together. You can't not respect that.
