Idung Email Phisher

I dont remember buying idung..

Does idung have its own jar^ or run on a client?

 

iDung is on rsbuddy so it's not a jar... it's a virus, don't click it.

its actually pretty smart. what else are you gonna say to get people to click a link or download something related to runescape?

 

Perhaps at least something that made sense, considering that iDungeonPro doesn't come in a .jar anymore?

This is 10x better than the Runescape emails going around.

But if more of these emails are going around, there will be more noobs posting threads saying that they've got phished/whatever.

 

Thanks for the tip. Although some of you are saying this phish is stupider than the rest, it actually looks really legit. Only smart people would know not to click on the .jar. Sadly for people that may have recently purchased this or think someone did it with their e-mail they will click it.

On another note, how come I never get any phishing e-mails. XD

 

I got 2 similar messages regarding dungeoneering botting months ago. Both wanted me to download, but i didn't of course.

 

Just like the RS emails, a lot of people fall for it.
It's a simple mistake, as they make the emails FROM the actual place.
It's pretty stupid and annoying.
Since I only ever used 1 email on rs, I delete any/all emails on my other email addresses, from anything rs related.

 

Doesn't look like a phisher, more of a RAT if they are trying to get you to download and run a .jar file, but either way, don't download it if you get this email anyone!

I got that email too! just don't click anything that gets emailed to you and delete.

 

Lol, just checked and it seems as if I got it aswell. Ever since I posted my email publicly on Sythe, I've been getting them.
