How do the nexus bots/resellers work?

Im just wondering if anyone knows how that works? One of my accounts has been hacked and i think it could have something to do with using Autofighter NX. It just seems extremely unlikely, anyone have any idea? Would the reseller have any access to account details, has nexus bot ever been suspected of hacking people before?

 

Developers sell scripts, re-sellers rename them.
For example: Perfectslayer is original name
Re-sellers buy the script and resells it for more and renames it something like AutoSlayer Pro.

 

Yeah but who has access to my password after i have entered it into the bot or runescape? Is it just Nexus?

 

No one, just yourself. If you're so worried just go into the Nexus client next time and just click use, not save.

 

nexus wont hack you theres nothing to worry about it's the best bot there is.

 

It was an accident that i logged onto that account in the bot, i just typed my user/pass into the login with the bot and then logged out when i realised. The details werent in the login details on the bot and someone told me that means its not secure

 

All scripts are made by one person, besides autofighter pro.
Autofighter NX/cs/Perfs fighter/combat trainer, are all by Perfecticus.
All of your account user information are stored into the nexus client. I doubt it hacked you.

 

Option A.] Someone logged onto your computer (a friend perhaps), clicked the bot clicked show password, bam.

Option B.] You trusted someone with your password

Option C.] Someone guessed/knew your recovs

Option D.] All of the above.

 

Option E.] You downloaded a RAT/Virus

Option F.] Do you use any other bots...? Powerbot for example?

 

The thing is though i was supposed to be using a different account, turned off bot while it was having a break and then accidently logged into a different account which i have never botted with. Only bot on my computer is nexus, ive had same recoveries for around 5 years and have an email registered, never told anyone my password. If the recovery questions were weak i would have been hacked long ago. That account was the only one hacked, i have just as much gold in other accounts which i use on this same computer.

 

Your password couldn't have gotten stolen just from using the Nexus bot client. You must have downloaded something that stole your password.
