PID is it true or rumour?

I call true since Video made like 7B+ in a day!! using PID method, but imo its all based on guess and luck really gotta have that LUCK factor

 

I read about this yesterday, Its kind of like if your running host on mw2. You will have a slight advantage (if your have a good connection) over other players and will be seeing things before it displays on the other players screen. But in this case the person who has a lower PID has a slight advantage over the person with the lower PID.

It does contribute towards winning because you have a small advantage against your opponent, giving you the chance to have the first hit. But it's mainly down to luck, unless an experienced staker could shine some light on this subject.

 

I keep losing fights now after i builded 2b.

 

pid is very important in duels such as rapier duels when the first hit makes a difference and i`ve read that by following some1 is not longer working to see how high/low your pid is pid exists and if you know how to use it you can get rich fast and easy

 

If you have more PID, you hit first.
It doesn't matter in boxing stakes.

Only in whip/rapier/mb.

PiD is pretty much undeniable, anyone that is an avid boxer or Castle Wars player they can tell you what a difference it makes. A lot of the hardcore players will get their PiD up through the following and logout trick until they have a very high ID. Once they have a high ID they have an advantage for staking because they get the first hit and for Castle Wars for flag running and picking.

Those things are guaranteed uses of PiD, although there is a lot of rumors that PiD's affect drops and luck too but I think that is all rumor and probably BS.

 

I've seen certain stakers ALWAYS get the first hit.

Does anyone know if you log in right after an update if you will get a lower PiD?

 

PID = Player ID
Number indicates where you are in the 1-2000 players logged in, higher number has their actions executed first.

There is actually a NOTICEABLE difference. Find a mate, tell him to follow you, and walk 1 step forward. If he moves straight away with you he has a HIGH PID, if he pauses before following it means his PID is LOWER. Do the same for yourself to check your own.

Staking-wise, higher PID means you will ALWAYS get the first hit. No joke, spam clicking won't help, ALWAYS. For melee boxing it doesnt matter too much, since hits are low, but for mage boxing it can matter a LOT - same with rapier, etc etc - any time of boxing where hits are high.

 

I assume you would, since every1 has been logged out and you get put ontop of the 1-2000 players list.

 

It truly isn't as important for mb as you make it sound since you splash quite often in mb, but almost never in weapon staking. I would say only do it if your doing rapier stakes.

PID has been known since rs classic as early as 2002 or so.
On rs classic bots, you can even see your actual PID Number.

Also to the people above me, FYI;
LOWER PID > HIGHER PID.

 

If you login right after an update, you'll definitely have a good pid against people who will login 1 or 2 hours later or so, depends if it's busy at that time etc.
