Some grand exchange ?'s

So I'm getting into high frequency merching, but I've come into some snags which lead me to a few questions..

there is a 4 hour limit on how many of a certain item you can buy.. ie.. like 40k runes or what ever blah

My question is, is this limit dictated by the item its self? or the type of item it is? because I don't want to waste my ge slots buying different types of runes if it don't even flippin help.

The rule only applies for each individual item.

so i could buy like 100k fires then 100k airs and be set.. my life just got a whole lot better =D

 

You can buy the 25k rune limit , sell them and buy again within the 4 hour limit.

 

i was also wondering...

if i buy or sell more items at a time.. does it make more sell or buy?

like if i bought 100k, or 1m would it make a difference over a 24 hour period?

 

I believe that some of the armor is limited to 10 "in a set" or something, such as 10 rune armor. I could be wrong though, have a look at rswikia's grandexchange page.
