Hi, Im a little late (busy), but I'll say it anyway:
Happy birthday, Sythe I have many good memories, as well as some not-so-good ones, but overall, I learned a lot in this market! I'll share my little story for anyone who wants to read it.
I discovered this page in mid-2020, when I was literally 16 years old. We had a very difficult economic situation in Venezuela, and in general, not everything was going well.
I decided to start providing services, and that's how I started, earning a percentage for each job I did with my employees.

Then I joined the account sales team, and well... a long story. Currently, I've gone from having nothing to having the computer I always wanted, my own car, and soon I'll buy my own house in the center of my city. I can buy things that I couldn't afford if I had a "real" job in Venezuela.

Thank you so much to this page for the opportunity to learn so much! And to all those people who said I wouldn't achieve anything working here (some people here in Sythe), I also want to say thank you so much for seeing what I've accomplished, and I hope you'll stay with us to see what we'll achieve! <3

i’m not a well-known member of sythe. no one really knows who i am, and truthfully, i’ve never contributed anything meaningful to the community.


still, i first came across sythe many years ago, back when i was just getting introduced to programming, rsps, and cheating scenes. this was probably around 2009. i remember it because i was also part of another community at the time: moparscape, for those of you who remember it.


i was around 12 years old then, and all i wanted was to be a moderator on some forum. i thought post count was the key, so i spammed a bunch of threads thinking it would help. safe to say, i was quickly put in my place. but after that, i became a long time lurker over the next few years.


fast forward to 2016, i rejoined sythe, posted a cringy intro and an osrs progress thread, then vanished again. i joined the military and lost interest in almost everything. but now, i’ve found my way back here once more.


if any of you happen to scroll through my old threads, i want you to know i do in fact have dreams and aspirations now! i’m not chronically online, and like many of you, i’ve got a beautiful wife, two amazing kids, and yes… i did end up maxing my level 3 skiller.


i know i’m rambling, but like i said, while i haven’t done anything for this community, this community has done a lot for me. thinking about sythe and those old days brings back a lot of nostalgia.


i plan to be more active moving forward, and honestly, i’m looking forward to making a few friends here.

For now my tin foil hat remains in place, maybe by 25 I'll be able to share my 'memory' of all the conspiracies coming true.

Couple of things since joining RS in 2020 and subsequently Sythe in 2021.

• Never been scammed, still struggle to understand how some fuckwits get got.
• Stories like @Livelio give a little heart warming feeling when buying services, good job my man!
• RAS is always a good read.
• Fuck Bert.

 

My favorite story from sythe is when I paid @Pikachu for a custom banner and other mods made him take it down within 20 minutes of adding it

 

I once made a fake sythe account of a girl, and one of sythe moderators paid me for AI generated feet pics

I have many fond memories being a member on this site. I originally joined because of the market and I had a very good run from when I joined almost a decade ago now. It's scary how time flies by. It feels like a year ago I was on the top 5 most traded on powerbot and a friend suggested I joined sythe marketplace too.

I have seen dozens of people come and go, and none of them are forgotten. A lot of new guys I don't even know, some of them doing very well in the market it seems. I equally enjoy seeing posts from the guys that still lurk, to those that post their 12th appeal.

I once thought I quit sythe myself, only to come back months later. Although I do not trade much at all - certainly not full time now I have other ventures - I still find so much value in the community and will be here for as long as it lasts.
