Guru/Grand Master only forum

Either is fine, I'm indecisive. The donor forum is pointless, why not give us a little place to chill? I don't even care about postcounts there tbh. Take them. Idc.

Would make users aspire to stay around more. Hearing stories about GML would make people scam less because they'd want to keep their accounts and instead of vading become legit traders and post a lot in helpful ways so that they could have access to the coveted Grand Master Lounge!

 

1. I agree the donators' lounge is useless, but it's a donation perk nonetheless. That alone is reason to deny this suggestion.

2. There's absolutely no need for a Guru/Grand Master-only forum. If anything it just creates more cliques, an elitist attitude, and generally more drama.

3. You shouldn't create suggestions if you have no quality reasons to back up why it should be implemented. I realize you are trying to get others feedback, but the reason you yourself couldn't come up with any reasons is because there are none. Therefore, others aren't going to be able to come up with any good reasons either.

You can't restrict who can or can't post on your thread. I made a constructive post with valid points. The fact that I'm not a Guru or Grand Master doesn't lessen the validity of my points. You're wasting the staff's time with false reports.

This is my thoughts. Although the Donator forum can be useful at times.

 

I think the idea is pretty cool , however wouldn't this create more people to spam, just to get post count to get access to this forum?

Also, this could just cause people to spam more to get in there. Just saying. The donor lounge is a perk for people that donate to help this website.

 

The only thing it would make users aspire to do is spam if anything. Tell me honestly, what would be discussed in this so called Grand Master Lounge that isn't already discussed elsewhere? Most donators thought the same thing until they finally donate and realize the private forum is dead, and nothing special or coveted goes on there.

Maybe you could release auths there, oh wait, that's against the rules. Perhaps you could do contests? Funded by? Yeah... There's absolutely no reason to have another private lounge for high post count members. I'm not saying that because I wouldn't have access to it. I'm saying it because it's the truth, and part of the reason why it has never been implemented or tried. The other reason, which is the main reason is that it is a donation perk. That's exactly what Matthew or another staff member will say when they deny this suggestion.
