Locked account

I recently bought a level 138, and it has been locked. The account seller, Fatality, keeps all recovery information, for saftey reasons. I'm pretty positive it wasnt Fatality who locked the account. I bought an account upgrade from Sheba888, and two hours later the account was locked. Fatality is not online, and I have no way to contact. Anyways, what can I do to protect my items on the locked account instead of just allowing whomever locked it to recover it?

(Not saying ither Sheba888 was the one who locked it, just saying it was a possibility.)

 

usually they only lock it if they think it was stolen. did fatality give you any of the recoverys? if not why would you even buy it

 

By buying an upgrade it does not LOCK your account. The only thing an upgrade can do it FREEZE your account which will make you unable to play until you pay the fine of 160 J Coins. Account usually tend to lock if the owner attempts to recover it or someone else with the info attempts to recover it. In addition, an account can lock if you do suspicious activities. Such as changing password frequently.

At the moment, Fatality is the only one who can lock the account. Unless he is not original owner of the account you bought. Demand a refund or ask for it to be unlocked. Give him 1-2 days time, if not, send in scam report.


EDIT: PM fatality. That is one way of getting his attention. If he does not reply, it means he is ignoring you.

 

Jagex automatically locks your account now once you place a recover password so there is nothing you can do because nobody has acess to a locked account

 

Don't worry about it. It is because I fatality I lives in a far off country(somewhere near etheopia) if the ip address has a drastic change that fast then the account will be locked. Just send her a pm and she will fix it happened to me once and she is the nicest person you will ever meet, will fix it allllll up.

 

PM Fatality, it's no laughing matter.
Also, if the account is "locked" it's because someone tried to recover it or submitted it as stolen with sufficient info.
It most likely wasn't the upgrade seller.

 

well you could have set a pin on that account before you brought in your items.... if the account was recovered by the owner your items are prolly gone..... account buying is really risky
