Who here actually plays music?

Piano 6 years, violin 2 years, recorder for 1 year, and guitar for 3 years.

 

I have tried my hand at mash-ups and they sucked but I have been playing guitar for a few months now.

 

guitar 2-3 years

 

Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano, Guitar, and learning Violin and Tuba
Jazz Band, Concert band, and Marching as well

 

can you imagine starting one of those internet based bands? wait is that even possible? i dont mean just a co-op one time only session i mean like full on practice and wat not... imagine.. starting a famous internet based band with 3+ people you've never met irl... its ganna be a bummer when ur figure out ur singer was using a voice box xD

 

I've played drums for 7ish years now.

 

Guitar i play all types of music, starting a band right now actually with one of my friends from school

 

Awesome. I've always wanted to play tuba because I love the bass instruments.

 

I play clarinet in my school's marching band lol.

 

I don't play any instrument, although I would love to learn to play Piano if I had to learn anything.

 

Nope. I mean, I can play the piano a little, but I can barely play anything but one song. If I could choose what instruments I would want to learn, It would be piano, drums, and/or violin.

 

Everyone who says they want to learn, just do it! Take lessons, join the school band, or if you are super motivated you can try to learn by yourself. There are even online tutorials and stuff if you don't want to pay for lessons.

 

Well i used to play guitar/drums, would guess i'm still decent. I can make dubstep beats with music software ; )

 

I play guitar, piano, alto sax and harmonica. I also have a drum set but I'm not that good.

 

Harmonica is definitely an interesting instrument to learn. It would be really cool to be good at it, but I just don't want to put in the time

 

Piano > guitar hands down.

Sadly I don't play piano. I play guitar.

 

As much as I love piano, I don't know which I like better. I've always been a huge guitar fan

 

I play the bass and guitar. Been playing Bass for a while for like 6 years or so, and guitar for 4.

 

I played guitar for about 2 years before I stopped because I got bored of it

 

It seems like 99% of people here play guitar. Is anybody majoring in music, or plans to pursue music as a career?
