I heard about PID before a while

i still don't fully understand it

I think some of it is true tbh.

 

I can't remember which mod made a thread about his staking success with PID but for staking I believe it deals with who gets the first hit.

To test your PID level, I think you follow someone and depending on how fast you react determines your PID level. You can also have people follow you to figure out their PID level.

The faster your PID level, the higher chance you're going to get the first hit in staking.

No positive but I think that's what it means.

Yeah and as I heard it doesn't make much of a difference in boxing but in other stakes it makes a huge advantage.

 

It seems to be true in my experiences dueling to determine first hit.

I also think it matters for last hit if you are both on exactly the same tick.

What in fucks name is PID level?

 

PiD = Player Identification

A mod confirmed that it was real, the higher your PiD means your higher on the list of 2000 players and the game needs to execute your actions from highest to lowest, so lets say you are 4 PiD and someone is 10 PiD, both of you click a tree at the same time, you(4 PiD) will start cutting the tree first but you probably won't notice the difference

 

So how can you tell your PiD? Is it most recently logged on or something? Also, will it make a noticeable difference in boxing, or will it be just a 1-hit type of thing?

 

PID = Player i.d

When everyone log's into runescape they get a secret P.I.D the first person logged in get's pid 1 and so on

if say 100 people log on then the person who has pid 54 logs out the next person to log in will fill that void and be 54.


Pid mean's say if there was a monster to attack and 2 people clicked it at the exact same time as u know 2 people can't attack something at the same time unless it's multi. so the person with the lowest P.I.D get's to attack it
same goe's with duel's and picking up item's and so on

on runescape classic lowest pid got the first hit in stake's and they had bot's to show you your pid when you logged in as for runescape 2 i don't know how to find it maybe by opening the developer thing im not sure

 

for the most part you won't really notice unless your PiD is 1 and the other guys is 2000, and unless your playing Runescape classic it is impossible to tell what your PiD is exactly. if you have the same PiD as someone else you'll get that effect were you hit eachother at the same time and you don't see the other guys attack emote. the PiD is randomized on login, if you the 2000th player to login your PiD could be 412

 

That's wrong PiD isn't in order it is random for each player

 

It wouldn't change your hits and would make close to no difference in a duel. Just click when there is a 1 over their head rather then spamming at 3 and if it really comes down to you losing because you attacked 1/100 of a second later then that's just the luck of the draw. Which I might add staking in most cases is luck

Yes the lower pid you have, the more first hits you get.
