Bots are Being Reduced.

Has any one els noticed that more and more people are getting ban?

Jagex is stepping it up? Im in rouges den ATM less then a month ago same world same time there were 10 - 20 People botting, Now There is only me...

Could jagex freally be getting sick of bots?

 

i have noticed a shit ton less of rune ess bots... maybe so?

ah, wondered why there was no1 else botting at alkarid warriors.

 

they do this all the time give it another month or so the bots will be back and jagex will be tired again n give up for a bit.

That's stupid. That doesn't mean that they'll let them overpopulate.

 

They already overpopulate. You can't judge this type of thing by seeing less people at the Yew trees lol. Try taking a look at the player count directly after an update (when bot clients are offline) then compare it to the player count 24 hours later.

It does seem like they're cracking down a HUGE amount, I've noticed A LOT less bots whilst doing slayer, maybe this time they won't quit at it, maybe..just maybe botting will become very hard.

 

I agree, I botted all my accounts, never been banned EVER after several years i use premium bots and some free bots and finally got banned today for 21 days..

 

That's good and bad, because like the ess bots would make me lag when i went over there, bad because i was wanting to bot to 87 dung :S

 

I'm pretty sure the number of bots has been temporarily reduced because of all the recent RS updates.

 

I think they believe to keep bot usage down is to keep updating and that's one reason we have seen many random updates recently. They know when you ban a bot the person just makes another account and starts back up. So they attack the source of the botting which is the client. RS updates their systems which leads to the bot-client need updated THUS shutting down many bots for a certain period of time.

Thats one way to look at it.

 

well the new rsbot api made all working good scripts fucked up
thats why im using rsbuddy atm and yes i enjoy 1-2 ppl at spiders

 

I dont really think jagex is, maybye its just because you was logged in in the morning.

 

It does seem like there are slightly less bots now. And I've notice more people making banned threads here.

However, I have yet to receive any bans on any of my accounts (~15 and some others I'm botting herblore on for people).

 

if you have runetrack look at your rank in mining and don't level mining any, every day it will say +500 and you haven't even touched it, lol, thats how many miners get banned a day i guess, thats insane

looking @ mine right now and its nearly the start of the day, im +200

You should try keeping a daily log or something

 

I believe the way they are keeping bots at bay is by putting in lots of little updates, rather than 1 big update - and that keeps the reflections off for longer, resulting in less botters.

Also, CroCop - that really is an awesome way of keeping track.
