School Misery?

Anyone still stuck in school with absolute shit conditions? We're still in there until next Thursday, and we have no air conditioning. And in Pittsburgh it's about 90-95 degrees out daily lately. It's absolute hell. Anyone else have any stories about end-school troubles?

 

Thats rough bro. My school's heating and cooling never seems to work, but today was my last day : )

 

Every experience I had in high school the last week was always the most torturous. Teachers would play little kid movies like Aladin and we would be forced to watch while they were surfing the internet all amused. Any talking in the classroom during the movie was prohibited and one caught doing so ended up in the "office". I'm glad that's all over now, hello college! I've been out since mid-May.

 

When teachers grade you based on their mood. I had this one history teacher that was on her period and she gave me an D- for a very satisfactory project. (In my opinion)
Then another time she gave me an A+ on a project that I felt was absolute shit. It was last-minute material. So..yeah..

 

In my high school, our AC is alright but in my home classroom our heater is fucked and its soo cold.

 

I put up with roughly the same sometimes during Australian summer (southeastern Queensland), it's not really that much to complain about.

It's unusually cold for this time of winter at the moment. It's about 5 degrees minimum (Celsius) and that's really quite low for the Brisbane area.

 

In NZ it's currently winter. Today it pissed down with rain and in my highschool, there is hardly anywhere to shelter. We try go into corridors and the teachers tell us to fuck off. So pretty much, we have to stand under any shelter outside (Only real shelter is crowded like shit).

 

I just got out of school today, we have had finals this past week and it was pretty annoying. It was about 90 degrees on Monday and Tuesday however today and yesterday have been misting and cloudy. Not to mention the entire time when I was taking the finals I was just waiting for school to be over, it was painful to wait until today. Although I am glad it is finally over, now I will be able to have much more free time.

 

Two years ago it was like 100 degrees in Ontario, California. My schools AC went out and my skin was ended up stuck against my chair and desk. So when I got up you see my skin stretch for a bit then get unstuck. =|

No, I was not overweight.

 

My schools heating system broke when it snowed last year. It was so cold during one lesson that you could see your breath inside the classroom, and the teacher was wearing her hat, scarf, coat and gloves. :L

 

Damn that blows :S I've been out of school for about 2 weeks now haha

 

That really sucks. I'm glad i'm in college now, i got out about a month ago. My city's highschool got out today though.

 

Last year the last week of school caused our school to have a riot it was pretty awesome, it was all over the news

I've been out for a while, but when I was in school, one of my classes was literally completely flooded, and the roof was leaking, but we still had class.

 

the school i went to had an erratic heating system, most of the time in the morning when it was cold the heat wouldnt be on, then in the afternoon it would be like 90 in class. also the portables all had leaky ceilings

 

I'm at university now in Australia, but my high school had about two rooms with A/C, of the 100 total. It'd get above 90 degrees regularly here in Summer and it was BAD. =@

What's more, our uniforms had these pants that would make your legs itch.

Thankfully it's all over now though, lol. University's so much better.

 

My shit end school year trouble


- Senoir year, just took high school grad test, 3 days later, 1 day before graduation. i'm exspelled from school and told not to return.. GF 4 years of high school. Ended up getting my GED in 2 weeks and going straight to college after that.

 

i had the same problem thanks god i finished 2 weeks ago. Now i just have to take my exams and i`m done
