Does Karma Exist?

The question of whether or not karma exist isn't going about understanding the concept the correct way, I don't think.

I'd suppose the idea of karma stems from the randomness of the universe, and how in any extent of timeless space, the random occurrence of an event (1/&#8734, if plausible within basic ontology, renders that event to able to take place infinitely;

basically, on a cosmic scale, if something 'can' happen, atleast once, it 'will' happen twice.

Applying this concept to the actions of men makes sense; what you do can come back to you.

 

the hindu religion has karma in it and its a major religion

 

This may come as a shocker to you but just because a certain amount of people believe something, that alone does not determine the validity. I'm sure there's a considerable amount of people who believe Santa, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, etc are real but that does not mean they are right.

I believe our mind deceives ourselves into believing it exists. I think we will try to take any opportunity possible to attribute it to pure karma. It really only exists if you think it does, but I think that people believing karma exists is a good thing.

I don't think it really exists. People who believe in it might be convinced it does though...

 

I don't really believe in karma, but I do have a funny karma related story. Anyway, me and a friend were playing hide and go seek with some other friends. We hid outside in the snow on the deck (we did not have shoes or anything so we were really cold). We were throwing snowballs at each other and she hit a glass thermometer or something and it fell on the ground below and broke. I told her she should clean it up and she was like naaaah.... well, later that night she walked outside, stepped on the broken glass and cut her foot pretty bad. Karma.

Besides him doing thing based on Karma what does a television show have to do with anything?

Anyways, if any of you have read "The Dark Tower" series by Stephen King then you will get what I'm saying, if you haven't then definitely read it =]
It gives us the idea of "Ka" and I love this idea, it pretty much says everything is random, its not bad things will happen to bad people or good things will happen to good people, it just says that thing will happen.

This is a bit different way to look at it and alot of people won't like it, they want to have some sort of return for their good deeds or for not doing something.

Ka is viewed as a wheel turning and what happens is not based on morality or an ethic bridge but just randomness. Your actions with others influence how Ka acts with you but in the end good or bad can happen.

 

I don't believe in karma lol. if karma did exist it must not apply to me >.>

 

Karma was made up by the Hindus, and just like their religion, Karma is not real.

 

yes i got scammed 25m on rs doing dice than the kid went to someone with my 25m won and the other guy kept money so yes i think karma does exist
