    im curious why todays rap and hiphop sucks and that old hiphop is so much better

    You're looking in the wrong places.. i can compare old school rap to todays mainstream and see where you're coming from but theres alot of other GOOD music out there that ain't exactly mainstream.

    You're looking in the wrong places. Stop basing it on what you hear on the radio.

    I enjoy both so its like a 50 - 50 listen to more modern songs though

    OF is cool, but foreal there are some great artists that are "new school" doesn't mean they're getting any radioplay. Hopefully a group like OF getting exposure opens doors for TALENTED artists to walk into the top 100 billboards.

    You just gotta check out underground hip-hop, Immortal Technique and Diabolic are good to start off with. Otherwise, nothing is better than Nas' Illmatic
