Invest in Bandos Godswords?

I've got 54M and I'm going to quit for the summer. Should I invest in bandos godswords? I mean, how lower can the prices go? They're at 6.7m now!

at the end of the summer prices usually dip when kids self their stuff to stop playing for the school year.

Bandos swords are low for a reason. They are useless due to chaotic weapons.

I would try and merchant, get enough money for a rare like a green mask and buy one. They will always rise over time.

 

Don't merch BGS's over summer. They have been dropping in price ever since chaotic weapons have come out and I predict they will continue to do so for awhile. A sure shot of an investment would be a rare item as they always go up due to more demand than supply.

Its all about prediction. You have to predict and think :
A) Is the current item useful
B) Will the item be useful in 3-6 months
C) What are the chances that a new item will be released making the current item obsolete.

If you do that you'll realise that Korasi/Claws/Chaotics have made the BGS obsolete and like someone said they are no more useful than a whip. I expect them to drop to 3m.

 

gotta think god swords something that can always be acquired. Maybe if the old pk system was installed where it wouldn't drop what the person was wearing would make the price go up more. BUT since the market is kind of flooded with them then price will drop. I would by something RARE hint. save up the cash for that.

 

best thing to do would be to keep that cash pile because item prices are going to keep falling and if all of your money is invested in items then you will lose money

 

I'm not an economist but I think as nature runes continue to drop Yew longbows will rise as a result. Alchers won't reach a point of profit with them and the sellers of Yew longs hold the power. Do a bit of research and you could find yourself with double money coming back.
