    Will pay 30 dollars!

The coach of a local rugby club has approached you and has asked you to deliver a speech to some up and coming rugby players on the importance of sports psychology and its impact on sports performance
Make a speech which includes atleast 3 key psycholigcal factors that can have an effect on sports training and performance p6

    example

    phsyological factor and effects

explain in more detail how these factors can affect the sport performer and their performance , setting short term and long term goals in order to improve performance. e g increased motivation

analyse the effects of psychological factors on sports training and performance

Social Facilitation/Audience Effect - Social facilitation is the tendency for people to be aroused into better performance on simple tasks (or tasks at which they are expert or that have become autonomous) when under the eye of others, rather than while they are alone (audience effect)
(Basically whether an audience is present or not effects performance)
Extrinsic Motivation - The desire or push to perform a certain behavior based on the potential external rewards that may be received as a result.

There's 2/3 clinical terms. If you are still interested, I'd be willing to write the thing. PM me if you are.

If you want to write a paper on it, look up Terrell Owens. During his first few years as a pro football player he had a VERY rough time catching the ball. After a few sessions with a sport psychologist, he became great again.

There's also a new television show I believe that is based on this. The show is called Necessary Roughness. Check it out on hulu or quicksilverscreen. This should give you all the information you need about the importance of a mental therapist.
