Probably just a false positive, or whatever you call it. There is quite a few site advertisements that will be marked as malicious when they are fine. They are not dangerous. I don't think it is anything to worry about. This is why I don't trust those ad blocking and similar programs / services.

The most it can do is leave a tracking cookie.

You cant actually get ratted or infected unless you allow a certificate to run.

A while back Chrome wouldn't let me go to gold4rs because it thought it was a scamming website. I don't know if this has any correlation.

I believe this came up in the past, and it turned out that Gold4rs' site had been hacked and was being used to distribute malicious code through their ads. I may be mistaken though.

I thought people could report websites as malicious? (Like me reporting gold4rs for hacking)
And if enough people did it, it would be added to the long list of "bad" websites?

I'm not sure if that's true, but it's a possibility.

As you can't infect someone by them viewing your ad. They would have to accept something from it.

Check the settings on your malwarebytes , it may be flagging it as malicious for a stupid reason, It happened to me so I changed what it flagged and now it's fine.

Gold4Fun actually gets flagged on a regular basis. As far as I know, they have never hosted viruses or anything of the sort. I think it's just a false positive. Have you fiddled with the MBAM settings?

This. Many ads are just false positives. Although, you should just manually type the URL into the address bar, just in case.
