Chinese Boy Sells One of His Kidneys For iPad 2

Yeah...kidneys range from 5 to 6 figures on the blackmarket...to the best of my knowledge

 

That's just not worth it. I would never give or donate my kidney to anyone unless it was a SUPER DUPER CLOSE RELATIVE.

 

Kidneys are worth way more than 3 grand imo.

 

The things technology can do to people....

 

I don't think you can put a price tag on kidneys even for an Ipad

 

And this is why I own a substantial amount of Apple shares.

Seriously though, this kid needs to seriously reexamine his priorities...

 

Look at it this way.. the guy donated a kidney to possibly save a life and he was rewarded with an iPad 2. Sounds good when you put it like that haha.

 

He didn't donate his kidney, he sold it to the black market basically.

 

Still saved a life, because the people in the black market business are going to transplant it to someone who needs it and is willing to pay for it. However, it is extremely stupid to give up an organ for a piece of technology that will be outdated in a few months. In fact, most technology is outdated the second you get it if you really think about it.

 

I would probably do the same thing. Come on guysm it's an Ipad lol.

They are desperate over there. I forget where I read it but there was another article on a man who sold his kidney to pay off a gambling debt from playing online poker. He later experienced symptoms like fatigue and bloody urine.

There are online markets for them to sell off their kidneys. Most of the time there is a middle man involved who pockets a majority of what the kidney is actually being sold for to the patient in need.

 

It's crazy what people would do to get things :nuts:

 

not even going to lie if i could slang one of my kidneys i def would.

 

My kidneys hurt from reading about this.
