Runescape World #200

Why would you quit? It would just be another world, thus completely optional. You could simply stick to your same routine on normal Runescape.

I kind of disagree, I think it would be really fun to have the Single Player option because it would show a clear line between the much more talented players because those players would have much higher stats and gear. I think it would be pretty cool if they had separate highscores and you could see like their stats and a picture of their character like on normal adventurers logs. It would be interesting to see the more skilled players picked out.

It may just sound like a good idea to me because I love the elder scrolls games like Oblivion, although I think it sounds like a great idea.

I'm serious that you should consider suggesting it on the Runescape forums you may get some decent support.

 

I think it would be epic. I would definitely play. The quests would be a pain in the ass, but hey, I think it would be cool

A dedicated server, impossible. Would like to give it a try but hell who knows.

 

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't play. I don't much like single player games... been playing MMO's for too long I guess.

 

This is just plain terrible.

A few years back like 05 or 06 I DL'ed moparscape and tried playing by myself, even with the cheats it was the most boring annoying experience ever. The point of runescape is to show off your success to others because you already know what you have earned and can't surprise yourself lol.

Come to think of it, runescape classic is almost exactly that. You can walk around the entire map without ever meeting another person.

Bad idea, that would be real boring. No one to talk to or anything

 

Doubt it would ever happen, but it would be interesting to see what they would do with the console game. It would be cool to see the graphic updates, how multiplayer would work etc. Interesting idea.

 

What i'm waiting for... when RS updates so much they raise the price to $15 a month and turn it into a full blown non-broswer based mmo anymore..




Side note in your other thread you call it a MMO it would be a RPG as MMo means you interact with other players

It is a method that players use to play Runescape in which none of their skills are bought, for example: Mine pure essence (Mining exp), craft into nature runes (Runecrafting exp), cut Yew Logs (Woodcutting exp), fletch yew longbows (Fletching exp), High alch them (Magic exp). It involves training all of their skills hand in hand, evenly and together.

 

Would you have have a very increased XP counter drop rate.
Then for food you could have in your inventory, just one botton.
You could assign hot keys etc.
PVP wouldn't work, but Boss killing would. Would be amazing..

 

That would be totally badass. Smith your own sword. Slay your own abyssal demon for that whip. Alch things to make cash. Use the cash to buy tools like a tinderbox, seeds and all that other stuff. Cut a magic tree, fletch it into a bow, pick a flax and make it into a bowstring.

etc etc etc

And if someone botted they'd only be ruining it for themselves.

That is a really inspiring idea

 

I wouldn't play this at all. It would take YEARS to get all your skills to 99.

Every time you want to go out and train combat, you'd have to fish your own food, cook it, etc. Plus you would get the shit knocked out of you cause you'd have shit armour, unless you decided to level to 99 smith straight away, which would require 99 mining.

It's a great idea in theory, but would be boring as fuck in reality. Atleast IMO.
