How to remove recovery questions?

Hello, I dont understand how to remove recoverys now? Ive recovered my account with old information few times but recoverys are still set.

 

Im not sure it is possible now.

 

what the fuck? So if i get hacked account without recoverys, and scammer set new recs, i cant remove them and he can keep recovering my account? stupid

 

Set an email or message jagex..

 

Apparently doesn't work anymore.


Just manually reset them and wait 2 weeks.

You have to wait the 14 days now.. stupid jagex and there updates -_-

 

You have to wait 14 days for them to change and hopefully the hacker won't recover it within that timeframe. You should try and contact jagex about this in the forums.

 

I'm pretty sure that if you choose "someone stole my password" at the password recovery screen, they instantly remove your questions. It's possible that they also lock your account but unless you bought it off someone else it should be easy to unlock.

Honestly, recoveries don't even matter anymore. They are rarely used and only used if you have no e-mail. If you have the email registered, recovs are 100% useless lol just sayin' but I agree with above poster. That's probably the only route you can take. I've sold accounts with recov's, with buyer knowingly buying, and they just set their own recovs. If you are asking because ur sellin an account with recovs, you just have to be trusted

 

What basically happens is that it sets the recoveries to the very 1st ones set to the account, it doesn't keep the current ones.

 

Might be on the rapid account trading. So they made a new way of preventing it for a bit. NOT SURE just prob could be an answer to that.

 

Hey guys, i've made a quicksearch, over other websites, apparently, you can still reset your recoverys

But in other method, what you do is:

Account>Account Management>Recover Your Account, and then you dont write up ur email, and when it asks for the information, you just type random things like: oibjwofdsn.
You repeat this process until account gets locked, then when the account is locked, you simple recover it, Tada!!
Recoverys are now gone

can't remove only change

 

If u want to remove your recoveries you must get your account locked and it will automaticly remove them.

 

Get your account locked by trying to trying to recover, and just putting in random info.

Then recover it successfully

 

just go to recover stolen account. if successfull. it will first lock your account. then once the appeal is accepted the recoveries will be gone
