I like how the article claims to tell "The truth" as it misquotes people + talks about things with no evidence.
I'm not riding powerbots or anything but if your going to post or create an article dealing with the "the truth" at least make it right.

 

But according the information I have gathered from several years of Sything (Yeah, it's the new sythe verb.... Get over it.) PB was already the most corrupt RS Botting Community on the interwebz. Why would people stay?

 

Obviously written by someone supporting RSBuddy instead of Powerbot, but still an interesting read. I don't know much about what happened, but I'll never go back to powerbot again. Nice post.

 

I know that it's a bit hard to believe anything posted on the internet, but if you do a little digging on your own, you will realize that Jacmob and Arbiter are NOT to blame for the mass hackings in February.

Plus the recent hosts file tampering by RSBot serves as further proof of the corruption at PowerBot. They modified the windows hosts file so that PowerBot users could not access RSBuddy, which is illegal.

 

It`s not even worth bringing this up anymore. The site and the bot will die out slowly and surely. Everything about it sucks.

 

I can say from experience that when I used powerbot it was all fucked up and there was this time where powerbot was being updated and it was down for like a week and everybody was complaining about when it was gonna come back. So I was on there I saw a newly posted thread from a mod on powerbot saying the bot is finally up and I clicked the download link in his thread and it downloaded some shit and the bot didnt pop up so I checked back on the thread and posted wtf mods scamming people now be careful and after about 15 minutes they closed the thread and banned me and the mod is still there not banned and I think they are just slowly scamming people there little by little. I ran a scan on it and a bunch of shit popped up had viruses and all this other stuff I pretty much let my dad take care in deleting it cause I didnt know what it was or how to completly get rid of it. So I stopped using powerbot and quit botting cause didnt know any legit sites then a good friend told about rsbuddy and about their great community and their bot setup is way easier.
Also the mod who posted this was "Beaker" and I guess he didnt get banned and only some people downloaded when it came up and then it got taken down right after so there were a few people that probably got fucked from it and I bet they will pull that shit again.

 

It's about time that site hit the tank..

 

Paris was always a scum, noticed it during my time on Powerbot and their website is corrupt.
Which is why I joined Sythe.

I will never use powerbot again. EVER.

 

The people who run Powerbot also run Gold4RS. So be careful guys and stay away from em.
