Ebay account buying, selling, sharing = PROHIBITED?

Recently, I have seen people make threads regarding their Ebay accounts (buying, selling, sharing). Most threads I have seen are selling. Personally, I do not think Ebay account selling should be allowed. It is the same as selling paypal accounts or sythe. Ebay accounts, also works the same as sythe. Rather than vouches, they have feedback. Some new leecher can purchase a well trusted sythe account and easily scam. This works the same as Ebay. A well feedback account = easily to scam.

I support this, because it is the equivalent of people that sell Sythe accounts and PlayerAuction account on other hacking related websites. The only reason these people want accounts with good feedback is because they usually have intent to scam or something along those lines. Usually a legit person doesn't need feedback to start in the first place, they can earn it, so there is no point in buying it. This is my opinion on the sales of these sort of accounts. Although I have never seen anyone here attempting to sell an Ebay account, so it cannot be that common. Nonetheless I think it should be prohibited. Support from me.

Buying an eBay account is a little bit different though because if you scam someone on eBay you'll most likely get your money back in a short amount of time because of eBay's strong buyer protection making it really hard to scam however I do know what you mean so yeah I support this!

Ebay accounts hold personal information, and can be linked to RL bank accounts (I believe?)
Selling an ebay account because of it's reputation, is just like selling a sythe account because of it's reputation.
Easy to scam on a well-known or well-repped account.
I don't think it should be allowed, I don't even think it is allowed atm?

I agree with almost every point made here, but the bank account part. I am pretty sure most ebay accounts are just linked to a paypal, that you have to log into anyways. This would only help destroy the safety of ebay.

I agree, this should not be allowed.
It breaks Ebay's terms of service, and Is likely to get someone in trouble.

Botting breaks Jagex's Terms of Service, I don't see us banning that...

I support that they should NOT BE allowed to sell eBay accounts, I was just trying to say that the actual reason you used to back up your view was somewhat faulty.

Anyhows, is this even allowed in the first place, or is it already against the rules?
