Transparent Avatar

hello i have a image i need to get transparent, any nice shoppers out there willing to do a quick little job for me?

it is showing a transparent image but when i upload to avatar it has the white box, anyone have the solution?

i am, i saved it to desktop and added it on browse. do you think it has something to do with size?

 

maybe try uploading it on tiny pic and add it via the url option? it maybe im asking a friend now who is abit more photoshop/graphic literate then me

 

This should work, I had the same issue with my avatar. If it doesn't, you can always set the background color to the color of the skin, which is #284059 on the classic skin.

 

ive tried both of those options when i try to save the avatar it says this image has the wrong file extension, im guessing it needs to be edited in shop to be able to be transparent on the forums.

edit: just a quick question, how do you edit color on avatars?

 

you cant youd have to do so in photoshop or paint, then reupload it. ill be heading home soon im at work atm if you dont have it solved by then ill have a crack at it and see if i can solve this

 

sounds good, i think the problem is the file extension is a png file. i think it needs to be something else such as saving the file as .something in photoshop if im not mistaking, i just dont have shop to be messing around with it lol, thanks again though
