    Well some guy wants me to verify his player auctions account by using my cell phone number. would this be some type of scam?

    As far as i can see no, unless the kid does something bad. Possibly they would try to find you.

    I wouldn't recommend you to do so. Why wouldn't he use his own cellphone? If you don;t know him irl and he wants to pay you I think it's suspicious.

    If you know him irl and he don't want te be called because of parent and such you can do so..

    Yeah, i wouldnt suggest it unless you know him IRL, i dont understand how he could scam using PA but better safe then sorry.
