Western Union [WU] Questions/Concerns

Hi, living in Korea, its been hard to trade on the forums lately (new memebr as well) only using Paypal. Ive been informed that WU is a safe and widely accepted terms of service, and have some questions.

1. When we trade, do I pay in Korean currency or USD?
2. When using an OMM, Im assuming I send the money to the OMM, and then he sends to the seller?
3. Because most buyers are not in my time zone, do I have to use WU only when the seller/buyer can accept the payment at the same time as I send it?
4. How are WU fees split?
5. How doy ou receive a payment through WU?

2. no, most likely he'll hold good. Otherwise you'll get a double WU fee + MM cost, too much
3. They'll get an instant notice if a payment is made. Same as paypal. Once you've made an account you can see all your made and received payments. He's a queto from Wu for receiving payments in China:

5. not sure, I suppose the'll send it to your bank or you can pick it up at some agency

How do we communicate when we pick up at WU for example?

 

you can use msn, aol, aim, skype or any other communication program. Here at sythe you can lookup threads of pll whores buying/selling goods. You also can make a thread yourself. In this way you can lookup or post your msn, aol ect. Get in touch and finish of the trades

 

MSN is the most common communication tool.

4. How are WU fees split? If payment is $200 and fee $20, you send $190 + the fee ($210).
5. How doy ou receive a payment through WU? Pick up at any WU agent once you get info from sender.

 

Alright I think I got everything, just wondering how smoothly WU goes. For example, since you cant send funds quite easily (like Paypal, where you can do it right away online), isnt it hard to maintain consistent contact with the seller, making scams a lot easier, especially if I go first. To counter this I assume I usually never go first, and if I do only to trusted/staff, or use an OMM?

Also, when using an OMM, If im buying an item, the seller trades the item in game to the MM, while he holds it until I transfer money to the seller, and then he trades me item?

Also, in order to send money through WU, do I need a Western Union account (created online) and a Korean bank account as well?

What if I just wanted to go there and pay with cash? What would I need besides an ID?

you're in germany? You could make a bank funded pp account. You;ll be paying a slightly higher price and there less pll who're accepting. Still you can pay savely

Yes you can pay with cash and there is no age limit to send if you sending with cash. If you send like $1,000+ at one time they might ask for id.

can the buyer get his money back after checking online that he already sent the money ?
