[REQ] Jumping Back Into Botting - Open-Source Bot?

Hello all:

TL/DR: Are there any open-source bots available that I can tinker around with?

After 6 years of hiding, I feel like I want to make a break back into the botting and cheating community. I was a member (under the username of "Peer") of rscheatnet in 2003-2004 when Mediator was running it, then moved to Sythe before skulltorcha and then STS blew up. I frequented the IRC for both cheating communities, and if you're an old school cheater, you may remember me (I gained moderator in the last months of RSCN).

Anyway, the purpose of my post is that the thing I enjoyed the most was creating my own bots and pushing the limits of what the client could do. I used to enjoy putting in "zoom" functions to the client, and I haven't found a bot that does so anymore. So therefore, I'm looking for either a starting point as to where to make my own bot, or an open-source to base mine off of. The only reason I had left the botting community was because they had put traps into the client that detected my bot, and thus I was banned on multiple accounts.

I hope this post doesn't come off as a leech, because that is the last thing I would like to do. I strongly frown upon people simply grabbing at bots, which unfortunately seems like 95% of the current botting community. You can use the powerbot bot, powebot hacks other peoples accounts but their bot has a downloadable source you can use

edit: you can also use jagex's official client you just need to extract the class files and deob it

 

Powerbot is on sourceforge I believe, and yeah as stated above you can download the RuneScape client from the official webpage too under downloads.

 

The Runescape client on the homepage is just that, a client. It is a client that opens the webpage that Runescape is on, not the exact java applet. And even if it were, I would have no way of deobbing it, and I would not know what traps to remove. That is why I'm asking for a bot source.

I am unable to find the powerbot source. They have a googlecode site with the SVN on it, but it requires a password, any advice? It is also not on Sourceforge.

actually I'm pretty sure they changed the client a while ago so now it actually loads the client instead of a webpage

Unfortunately this is a little convoluted. The source compiles properly but does not connect. Any simple bots out there? Otherwise, I suppose this will have to do...

 

Straight from the svn the bot doesn't work? That's a little fishy.

 

I highly recommend using the powerbot source code.
I've been using powerbot before and after the hackings and it works great for me. Minus the hackings of course =p

 

Yep, but it might just be me.

I have been having problems doing this. This is the exact reason I'm doing it. I got around one error, but another arose. Perhaps you can help me out?
