runescape v world of warcraft

WoW was much more fun compared to Runescape but I'm a money man. No matter what I do I want to make some money and I came back to Runescape with a free economy. Before I quit Runescape I made about 30M in about 3 years, its been about 4 months and I've raked in about 900M total starting from nothing.

 

This is pathetic, where the hell are you coming up with this information.


I personally prefer Runescape, simply because I played wow a few years back and I did not really find it that fun. On top of that I have already established a good Runescape character and know the game inside and out so I have never had a reason to try WoW. Although I may try playing it again just because I know a few people that are into it and it may be worth checking out with all of the updates since I last played.

 

I agree with you mate, if you have a good character and good knowledge of RS it's a really fun game to play.

I gave the WoW trial a go and I had no idea how to navigate or move and it seemed too complicated.

This is a blackmarket for mainly Runescape, so obviously the answers are biased. But after playing both, I fail to see how someone can say Runescape is better. WoW is better in every single aspect.. and not only that, but playing WoW doesn't give you carpal tunnel.

 

Even if I do play WoW, Runescape will still be my #1 mmorpg game :laugh:
I think WoW is way more addicting than Runescape, so it will be a bad idea to play that game.

I also heard of a story where a husband and his wife's little girl almost starved to death because they were to busy playing WOW.

 

I've always loved playing runescape, mainly becuase i started out with it.

But i have tried playing WoW, i spent 5 days killing boars, and being killed by some clan members i had joined with.


Since were talking about stories,
I have a friend, whose parents are addicted to WoW, they will play for hours, sometimes days. I go over there sometimes to hang out with him, and there little "cave" that they play in, will have piled up food, ice cream containers, and smell like rotting food, and very gloomy.
It is pretty sad im my opinion, since they are both 40+.

I liked all those games excapt WoW. it's playstyle was akward, and beleive it or not i HATED how WoW looks, but yet i like RS?

I dislike WoW and will never play it, i din't even finish my free trail. it's just not for me.



They claim WoW is the best BUT. Dark age of camelot Has the BEST player vs player of any game ever made. if only it wasn't so old, and owned by EA =\

 

Yeah thats quite a few 40+ losers on WoW but at least for me every time I would go on ventrillo and talked to people that I play with from WoW the majority of the time they were 13-25 typical people. I've met some interesting people on WoW that I didn't expect because I use to believe that most people that played were just sweaty fat guys that don't leave the house.

 

That's the sterotype for most gamers



In my gaming history i have come across age ranges from 10-75. I have met serval families that play together. it just like al lgames. it has nice people, rude people, no lifers, and the weekend closet warrior.


i can honestly says theres about 12 people who i still keep in contact with from games i havn't played in like 4 years. and have had several visits from mom, dads, and kids of these people that live states away that are on vacation. It's all about who you meet

 

i play runescape. i don't like the fact that u have to pay for wow which is really expensive when in my opinion is not a very good game. rs isn't that great either but i think its better then wow.

I used to be addicted to WoW when I was like 12, I would download the trial multiple times and get to the max lvl in the trial(20) in 1 day, the only thing their is to do is go on raids or grind on monsters, it has no skills other than combat and any other skills like cooking and making armor are used for combat or completely useless, the pvp is confusing, nerds complaining that "you can't play the game right" and it just sucks all together, my friend recently started playing WoW, he starts saying like "Runescape is for kids it sucks man" and guess what, about 2 months later he realises WoW sucks and starts playing RS again

 

tbh Wow is a better game i play rs and WoW and i prefer WoW it has better graphics more playerrs a huge map mounts loads of weopons quest and things to do while i dont see mining a rock or alching to be very fun bh its just clikc click click bank etc i still enjoy boss killing on rs and pking but rs are trying to follow WoW with dungeoneering and stuff i pay 12.50 for WoW and 7.50 for rs so not much difference the expansions are like $50 and work for loads of accounts(u can have up to 10 accounts on 1 actual account)


aswell theres loads of races interacting and dungeon raids ur actual againstt a whole load of people(alliance and hoard)and makes the game generally funner
aswell this is a rs based furum so ur just gonna say rs is better its not very confusing once u get the hang of it(rs was confusing for me when it was my first time)its just as addictive as rs and theres alot of other things to do then combat based u can fish cook make armour and so on.

so thats why WoW have 13million players while rs have like a million

I prefer runescape but WoW is definitely not a bad game. I mean the millions of people who subscribed wouldn't play a bad game so it's obviously worth playing.
