Just a small suggestion to improve the efficiency of the "Sythe.org Support" forum. I believe the forum should have its own archive where all answered questions can be moved. If this were the case, all members, staff, and Community Assistants would have an easier time answering the questions as the forum would be much cleaner. The Head Community Assistants would do the archiving and be supported by Globals if need be.

That's a good idea, support. Like a place that says "Answered Questions" Or "Question Archived" or something?

I support this because there is always people asking the same questions over and over. If this were to be implemented then people would be able to get answers more quickly. Good idea.

As you're the HCA and you want it created, can you make an official request to an admin?

    I support :)

Although people will still post and ask the same questions, hardly any of the new Sythe users ever read a sticky.
I guess it would be pretty easy to implement and easy for several people to categorise the threads etc.

It sounds like a great idea, but in reality how much would it solve for the work put in? If the question was not answered exactly how they wanted, they would probably still ask a question. The same can be seen in the stickies in the RuneScape General sections, some people use them but there are still useless threads.

I'll support the implementation, but in reality I don't see it doing that much good.

Then go ahead and ask it again. That could help users that wanted an answer a different way than it was answered in another thread. Well, thats why those stickies aren't closed, so users could ask questions if they had them, unfortunately some users do not do that.

We'll just have to wait and see, but I don't think it would do any harm either.

It won't do much harm, no, but I have agree with Feren. It won't do much good, and as far as I can see, that section of the forum isn't bad at all. In fact, it seems that most questions get answered pretty quickly, so why try and fix something that's not broken. If they're going to ask the same questions over and over, then why bother putting stuff in a separate archive? Perhaps just for aesthetic purposes and keeping it looking clean, but that isn't the intention of this suggestion, from what I gathered.

This would make stuff a lot easier. Questions will not be repeated, less work for staff members to do, and easier for us to help. Rather than answering question multiple times, one is enough. FULL SUPPORT

That's part of the suggestion. The other part is that people will be more inclined to answer questions because they will see that there are only X many to answer. At the moment, if I click on a question with 2 replies, I have no idea whether the question has been answered completely, somewhat, or not at all. I may end up wasting my time. This suggestion will limit the time wasting and make it more appealing for people to answer support questions.
